---In March of this year history was made. For the first time ever, something cool actually happened at SXSW. Bernie Sanders was speaking during the tech conference week of the festival, and InfoWars had dispatched a team of intrepid InfoTeens to hassle his supporters outside of the event. The result was a clip they put together called "Liberals Defend Socialism At Bernie Sanders Event." While it was posted shortly after it happened, the video seems to have been taken down off their channels some time recently. Perhaps because, and this is another first, they realized how dumb they look.
You don’t need to watch the whole thing-it still lives online elsewhere-unless you’re a fan of flop sweating reporters and bleak cringe comedy. But there is one highlight that is a must watch. It was reposted on Twitter earlier this week by Dasha Nekrasova, one of the people InfoWars’ Ashton Whitty attempted to interview, where it quickly went viral, owing almost entirely to her super human levels of indifference.---

Where as in the UK, around 250,000 Children are malnourished. Capitalism fails every single time.. And yet gets a free pass because "Insert Excuse ".
Venezuela fails because of policy, not because of socialism in general.
Putting all their Countries wealth into Oil and Agriculture, was a recipe for disaster.
They were doing great during the oil boom years, their people prospered.
Then oil prices across the World plummeted which meant Venezuela's wealth, tied to selling Oil, the value collapsed, demand plummeted; they weren't getting rich from oil so they had to make sacrifices in their social programs cause they couldn't pay for them.
Anyone with a 101 knowledge on supply and demand could of seen this happen, where as the more developed countries across the World have numerous markets to fall back on when one section of the economy crashes. But how do you compete with countries that have products way ahead of your countries technological grade? All Venezuela has is the basic mining resources and agriculture to fall back on and you can't build your economy on just that, it has to be diverse.

After seeing that clip again I can see the major glaring flaw that they didn’t catch but I think was the reason they pulled the vid. The “interview” (cuz in honesty she spent most of the time talking and didn’t even ask her questions or let the conversation naturally flow even into the direction she wanted it too) went south the moment she mentioned that the 1% was in favor of socialism. Cuz immediately after making that statement, the follow up was of course “is that true?” Then she just asserts that it is and the woman asked her the perfect follow up which is “ok, name one?”, and of course she can’t and immediately moves into making a statement about Venezuela.
After that point the “interview” effectively grinds to a halt cuz at that point no more questions are really being asked and it consists of her making statements/strawman arguments expecting a rise from her which she of course doesn’t get aside from the observation “you guys got worms in your brain.”. Very amateurish.
I'm surprised she didn't say "George Soros" (Though i'm well aware that Soros isn't a socialist but a neoliberal, but the right believes that)

Sure, let's look at how Denmark is faring so well, oh, wow, 22% corporate taxes, lower than the US ones and low regulations. Finland? Similar. Sweden? It sunk from the 4th richest in 1970 to the 14th in 2000, along with almost no new private sector jobs, thanks to their high regulations and taxes.
Russias economy went to shit when it was introduced to the free market, as the goods they were offering were far more expensive and worse than those offered by the competition, this is why for example Slovenia did not suffer so hard when the market opened, as the citizens often went to Austria and Italy to buy goods, so the Slovenian socialist market had some form of competition, while the russians had none.
Also, prostitution was common in socialism, far more than it is now.

Venezuela's problems have nothing to do with socialism. The problem is most of their economy was dependant on oil (much like many other countries). People should read up on WHY that went flat (or popped) but also, Venezuela is one of those countries being hard hit by a combination of drought (climate change) and large cattle farms get dibs on water. This has created a mass famine. If anything is to blame, it's laissez-faire capitalism (which can exist under any governmental structure). And they all burn out, even democracy.
But also, I would have been like "what about Iceland, GB, Sweden, Germany, New Zealand, Australia (you know, all the OTHER socialist countries).

-Paid vacations are offered willingly by companies when they were first introduced as a way to increase productivity and some still increase the amount of relevant benefits for the same reason.
-Minimum wage is ironically a barrier to wealth as many developing companies want to pay less and ironically people would work for less yet the government has essentially made that venture and partnership of employees not possible as per law.
-Social security is tapped out in terms of resources thank the government to widen the net without requiring more people to pay in.
-Roads existed even without the need for public taxation or even government most American public services were paid for through import tariff or donations.
-Ironically you bring up Mexico yet they offer more social services are in deeper debt than the U.S. precisely due to poor management and corruption. A socialist country that is a 3rd world country imagine that most of them are.
