That really sucks but just a suggestion we have a hydraulic shop locally here that does pump testing for free perhaps you might make a few calls and see if someone in your area would do the same for you and perhaps they could even fix it for on credit if it turns out to be the pump all the best 🇨🇦😀
I have a 445 Ford backhoe and last year it started slowing down and by the end of the summer it would hardly move. I had quite a few leaks in the cylinders, so had a mechanic remove all the back loader cylinders and had them rebuilt. I do not have leaks anywhere in the hydraulic system now that I know of. At least non externally. I still do not have much movement. bLike snails craw movement. The filter in the reservoir has been cleaned and new oil put back into it. You mentioned that there was a filter in the bottom of the reservoir. I did not see that in my manual, but I had heard somewhere it had two filters to the reservoir. I was figuring that it might be the pump as well. Hope you find out the problem and share your findings. You never know when such knowledge could come in handy for someone else.

Is there a return solenoid? It moves a little but maybe that's just a weak pump

I have a 555 and just today it wouldn't steer and I had what appeared to be a coolant line split but am not sure if that is what it is
