    Hi Nathan. Thank you for your videos. I am also a Jazz Guitarist quite a bit older than you are. I’m glad you are keeping the tradition alive. One day may be in 100 years. People will begin to appreciate the genius of this music.

    Great lesson! Love how you break down the melody into core ideas that are approachable and easy to practice independently but still sound great!

      Thanks for watching! The suit was because I wanted to be present myself as professional, as I wear suits for my gigs why should I not for lessons? However, I noticed people on the internet don’t really care haha 😂

    ??? Low volume due to copyright? I've never seen this before and can't possibly understand why volume has anything to do with copyright issues. There's numerous other lessons on this tune on RUclips and nobody else is turning the volume down.

    • @NathanBortonMusic
      @NathanBortonMusic  2 года назад +6

      Hi Joe. When you upload a video RUclips scans it for copyright material (such as melodies). If you have one it puts restrictions on your video. It does this by the volume of the material. My channel was recently made part of the RUclips partner program, after years of work, and as such I can now earn a little bit of bread per video. As I don't do this full time, and actually put a far amount of hours into making these, I want the ability to keep the video monetized. Hope you can understand. If you turn up the volume you can play along during that part or you can just skip and go onto the lesson.
