It's not heavy and is nimble. People who say it's not is because they are so intimidated by the power and throttle response. At 180+ tucked the ride is so smooth and you don't feel any wind. They just don't like what they are afraid of, one of the most awesome machines.
@ C Kim - 100% agree about it being nimble...there’s plenty of vids on RUclips of people all over the world taking these things around tracks and beating much more smaller and nimbler bikes....also, if it wasn’t so nimble, it wouldn’t sell so much and be used by so many folks who live in cities...places known for lots of traffic and small narrow roads with pedestrians darting across the road. Like any bike (or car for that matter), it’s only as good as the person who rides it. Some can handle it and know how to ride it in a way that it is nice and nimble and others don’t.
I’m 5’7 and only 70kg (so about 154lbs) sat in the new 2021 model today and without using my hands I could easily ‘wiggle it’ / move it between my thighs with no problems what so ever......and yet everyone who rides motorbikes, that spoke to me said I wouldn’t even be able to get it off the stand 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️

I love my power and I’m 6’4” 255 and I easily got 165 and it’s my commuter. Lane splitting and handling traffic with ease
Finally someone gets it! Those who say a Busa can't handle twisties do not know how to ride or handle a Busa.
From a 08’ busa owner myself. To make 200+HP is more than just full exhaust. I’m building a 1441 for thousands and I’ll be at the 220hp mark before nitrous. (330ish after) this busa might be high 180’s low 190’s if it’s completely up to date on maintenance.
I own a 2nd Gen Busa, find a decent Autoban in "A" mode 100mph is effortless, then twist the throttle that is where the bike come into it's own , it goes off like a bullet out of a barrel of a gun. It's a great fun bike .................
Pulls so hard afraid to shift seems like it would be the opposite, the shift lowers the G's but obviously not the speed if you keep cranking the throttle. I loved mine but didn't push it hard for moths after buying it and also hade the yoshi, carbon fiber, slipons great bike, super smooth super reliable but a lot of heat off that right side directly onto the leg on a really warm day, if you run it hard.

Hayabusas are no joke... Fun machines! Once you hit that throttle ur gone!!! I hit 160 mph on my 2010 busa and it was an amazing experience.

Gen 1 or 2 - plenty of fun even with switch back corners. Busa just doesn't flick side to side as easy as a litre or smaller bike but still leans! Just needs a longer line into corners. But the real fun is coming out and hitting the straights 😂

you want to go fast get a BMW 1000rr busas are to heavy and actually slow , unless you do a bunch of engine mods.
one little mod and the Busa will blow away a BMW 1000RR the engine can handle up to 300 horsepower!
