- I haven’t read ANY of the Booker Prize longlist, but I’m still guessing the 6 books the judges will pick for the shortlist. Bet £100 I get it right, too.

This video was a trial in the making - bad weather, broken computer - but I'm glad to have gotten it out, even though it was a day late (plus an hour)! It was fun to make! So whaat do you think? Do you think my guesses for the Booker shortlist sound about right??
This was really fun! I liked your approach of predicting the shortlist based on what the judges might be interested in.
I haven’t followed the Booker Prize closely so wouldn’t be able to make an educated prediction AT ALL!
But based on the descriptions and your takes, these ones stand out to me as ones I would want for read: Study for Obedience, This Other Eden, and In Ascension.
Thank you, Reba! I wanted to join in with the fun of the Booker Prize, but without the headache of actually trying to read the books (my library was all out by the time I tried to reserve ONE lol!). My guesses where hardly educated either! We'll have to check back in a month to see if we got them right 😁
