What impressed me most as a Texan being stationed not too far away is the quality of appreciation that Tucsonians have for service members and veterans. Discounts are there, random people will thank you openly in the street when they spot it. It's a red blooded community, through and through. Good people there.

I had a buddy (RIP) that lived in Tucson for several years. He used to eat and drink at a place called The Depot I think. Always bragged on their breakfast and their burgers.
For all of you saying expensive…want a cheap burger go to Wendy’s. Want a quality burger go to Devine Bovine. Yes it is pricey but you are paying for quality and service. The funny farm hand is the BEST burger on the menu
Best burgers in Tucson by far. If I'm not mistaken the only think that isn't made from scratch is the ketchup. Also Ben is one of the nicest and genuine dudes I've ever met.

Ok - took your recommendation and went to Bovine Burger. Well, it's pretty expensive. And maybe that's OK for a specialty burger. But, the men taking your order/cooking/do whatever else couldn't crack a smile to save their life. It was so sober, as if they hated their jobs. What?? The burgers were good, but, ambience was so awful that it was very difficult to enjoy our food. Seriously, what's wrong with these workers? Also, the bathroom was filthy. Yuk! I don't normally complain and we were very excited to get a good burger here, but, all in all the experience sucked. 😢

Always judge a burger by one that is plain. You can't taste the burger with all that crap on it. I love it, but it masks the patty itself.
Not a fan of this burger place. Had two different burgers and couldn't tell the difference. Also took about 30 min to get our food.
I lived right next to it and never went in. Yikes!

I did never said the service wasn't good... However, the service alone does not make a restaurant great.
