@@GringoNation You can just google it. From what I know French saw the color of the Iznik tiles in the Sultan Ahmed Mosque (they are a baby blue color) and so named the color after Turks. You can see it in the word. Turq... The Croissant is French but was stolen from the Austrians who made it to the honor the victory at Vienna against the Turks (Turkish flag is the crescent). Crescent is croissant is French... That's just another example. Everything has a origin story attached to it... Remembered another, church bells ringing at noon is from the battle of Belgrade. The Pope ordered the bells rang at noon to symbolize the victory against Turks but the order was never recalled... They ring at noon to this day. Turks later took Belgrade... Anyways.
