You can find these Ringside Gloves @
www.ringside.c...
MY HAND SIZE FOR REFERENCE
9 1/4 " Wide from side of index finger to side of pinky finger
8" Tall from bottom of palm to top of middle finger
11" Closed Fist Circumference
Searched up Ringside Apex Boxing gloves and I noticed that this was posted 11 minutes ago.
Good timing!
I have bought 3 pairs of these. I didn’t know they were sparring specific. I loved them, but they broke really fast. I love how they fit, how they feel when hitting pads, the bag, and a persons face. It’s a shame they fall apart fast. But as you can read, it didn’t stop me from buying it again TWICE.
I now use Faixtex Mexican Style boxing gloves.
How do you like them compared to these?
They also have a bag glove version
Nice pair of gloves, I like that weave pattern and glove looks pretty solid w a lot of padding
🙏🏼🥊
Man this review came in just on time i was considering buying these from a few days. Perfect timing hehe
Awesome!
I have these and resonate a lot with what you said, these gloves are definitely more fit for sparring, but personally had no issues with it when I used it on a bag but switched over to a pair of 10z instead and keep these for sparring, oh and on amazon these are 40-50$, wouldn't pay 70 for these
Agreed
I’m shocked that the weight was on point considering a lot of higher end gloves are still off by a couple ounces lol
I know man me too, i won’t lie I thought my scale was broken...
csquaredboxing LMAOO
Great review on the apex gloves. I'm looking into getting a pair, but I'm curious. Between the Venum Challenger 3.0's and the Apex gloves, which would you go for?
Great video! can you do a review on your top ten cheap gloves?
Thanks will do
thanks for the review! might have to cop cause my old gloves breaking down ahaha
Thanks!
Great review! I currently wear 14oz everlast. I am 155lbs. I want to add few pairs to rotate..I’m in Canada $74 on Amazon. No biggie..
Good stuff!
Appreciate the reviews on any gloves under $100. Could you review the new Title gel glory super bag gloves 2.0? I would like to know how they compare to my go to Ringside Apex bag gloves which I enjoy using.
I’ll check them out
Yes would love to know hat those title glory ones are.like too please
Had a pair great for Sparring DO NOT use on bag i broke my knuckles the padding will not hold up on the heavy bag also cover the velcro with tape when sparring
Thanks for sharing
Must have been some serious contact on a really hard bag, bro! Did you literally fracture your knuckles???... those sparring gloves are usually not good for bag work at all... would not hit anything but maybe the mitts with those besides contact on human target.
@@konpoy I was throwing hooks at the 300lb bag im about 145
@@konpoy My knuckles were legit split
@@MM-gv4sc 300lbs at 145lbs??? gotta know your limitations, bro! I bet you are young:) I am 45 and feeling it! Train smart, bro:) good luck!
Thanks for the review!
I wish Ringside offered at least a dual-layer foam. I have 3 pairs of various IMF Ringsides (1 in 10 oz and 2 in 16), and they all hurt my knuckles. You mentioned how this can happen in your review. I get bruising and blisters, and I always use wraps.
Multi-layer gloves have a soft layer on the inside, but these don't. Even a softer blend of IMF is still harder against the knuckles than is ideal. The compartment is too stiff to comfortably use gel knuckle guards, too. There's a reason almost every other glove in the world uses a minimum of 2 types of foam, and some up to 5.
I have these and I love them they are narrow, and I feel the punches very well , definitely eay better than my venum elites
Nvm the one i use look similar but they are the gel gloves
🥊👍🏼
Thank you bro love the channel 👍👍
Thanks as well!
I love mty fairtex, especially the bgv9, how do you think this compares to fairtex?
Mine came in today. First impressions..14oz gloves felt tight compared to my everlast.,took some shots on century bob..did not like them. Maybe I need to work them in few sessions. But ya..not a fan..see what happens tomorrow. I will upload my initial video in a few
Thanks for sharing
I had a pair, the foam on the inside broke on me. I used them for sparing and bagwork for about 5 months or so. If I were a big dude, it might make sense, but I'm like 135lbs so they should have lasted way longer, despite the combined sparring and bag use...
Agreed man thanks for sharing
It's almost a sin to use the same gloves your sparr with on a bag
You should make a video about your glove collection
One of these days
What cheap and affordable gloves would you recommend that would get that nice pop sound and feel when on the bag or pads
Yo Carlos (or anyone who have both pair of gloves) ,
Thanks for putting effort to do all these great videos.
Last question before I finalised my purchase. I am wondering if you have a Fairtex BGV1 too. If you do, May I know if TopBoxer Alien have a slimmer or wider profile and compared to bgv1?
Thx thx.
Thanks man alien is slimmer
Do a review on the Ringside Bullet Sparring Gloves next.
I heard they're ass
Bought these, feels like night and day compared to the Trideers.
Unfortunately, amazon thinks a 2" slice in the vinyl is cosmetic.
Have you been able to repair something like that? I'd rather not return or use tape.
Initial searches suggest wet suit repair, vinyl glue, or neoprene cement.
For sure, I’d say wet suit repair is your best bet
@@csquaredboxing Henlo. I successfully repaired using an adhesive called E6000 and some marine vinyl I had lying around. You could actually fabricate some sheets of the E6000, let it dry, and then use more E6000 to glue it to the glove (not the foam), without needing vinyl. When it dries, it's like a rubber band, both in touch and elasticity. I only came back to mention as there was nothing I could find on youtube in regards to repairing gloves and it only cost $4. G'day.
I’m looking for my first sparring gloves. I’m 6’4” 220 with wide palms. Would these be a good first sparring option or do you have a better recommendation? I really appreciate your input!
I’d say rival rs100
I wish they were better because they are some of the sexiest gloves I've ever seen. I'm looking at a Venum elite and the style comparison is a blood bath with Ringside coming out on top... but I can't justify that over layered foam and other advantages the Venum's have.
👍🏼
Talking about sparring gloves does the 14oz winning protective enough for hard sparring If not what other 14oz gloves would you recommend for hard spar I'm about 140lbs
Thanks Carlo #1
Definitely winning is protective enough
Not sure if you did a review for the Fighting gloves. I heard it’s a knock off of the Winning brand, but still pretty good. I wanna know what your thoughts are for the gloves.
I have a fair share of velcro gloves, and looking to venture out with lace up gloves. Right now, I’m deciding between the Twins BGLL-1 and the Fighting Sports Fury lace gloves. What do you think?
Yes I have the review is on my channel
Good first pair of beginner sparring gloves?
I got the rb11 for bag thinking about getting these for sparring
Yes definitely
These or the power lock 2 csquared?
Hey bud i was just wondering i am new to boxing and i am getting a heavy bag but i have been in many fights and i know how to throw a punch but my hands aren’t very big and i need some training gloves is there any gloves or sizes you recommend i weigh only 130 and i have small hands
Those gloves are lowkey awesome for sparring.
Yup!
Went to my local boxing gym and they used these for sparring. They’re not bad, the ones they used were well broken in and not too stiff.
They stunk like crazy tho
Nice!
u recomend them for aqua bag
Looseness in the end of the glove near the tank he has a big problem with a lot of gloves.
Everlast pro elite are the worst for that.
I was pretty much waiting a whole video for the sort of information.
I thought you took a little bit too much time to explain the look at the gloves, which I thought was unnecessary because we can see what they look like and you don’t have to tell us about it, but it was good that you told us about how they fit and feel on the inside because we can’t see that by looking at them.
👍🏼🥊
You could've skipped forward. The fact that you “wasted” time to comment this is whats wrong with society.
I trained at a boxing club that had a bunch of these gloves, they made you wear them to spar. I hated them. Felt like a big round foam ball on your fist, and these are the only gloves I ever hurt my thumb with. Twice! They also did not last very long. They dont have them anymore.
Thanks for sharing
Same here. Although I didn’t really have any negative experiences with them.
This isn't about the gloves but what jump rope would you recommend for a beginner that's not sure to commit to boxing and doesn't want to spend a lot of money
Cheap pvc jump rope on amazon
@@csquaredboxing thanks i will try it out
Ringside o powerlock 2 (16 onzas)???
If price doesn't matter, are these better than the Hayabusa S4's? And is there a better glove around the same price than both?
I like these better than the Hayabusa a
Would you recommend using these gloves for the aqua bag and double end bag as well?
Yes
I just got these and I have an issue with the inside cloth material sliding around and causing blisters to my knuckles, anyone else have this problem and know a fix?? Thanks all
Wrap your hands
@@jaybino3918 I do silly. Never said I didn’t, still got blisters.
Can you review the heavy bag version of it please “FTG1”, thinking of buying this pair as a first pair for training
I’ll check it out
Nice looking gloves! If you feel like donating any pair... I'm open to receive any gifts from da man!
Thanks for all review
no prob
I'm just getting into hitting the heavy bag. You said these gloves may not be the best for the bag. Anybody have any recommendations for heavy bag gloves?
Rival rb50 or rb11
True to weight? impressive for a Ringside.. How do these compare against those Omegas?
*edit - thanks for the headsup on their price-jacking tactic👍
Agreed! Yeah the price jacking is BS, can’t stand it. I still prefer these over the omegas
noti gang✋🏽🙋🏽♂️
💯
I’m a bit late but great review, that’s a like from me 👍🏽
Thanks
Recommend it for a beginner?
Yes
God I hate these gloves. I got the "bag" version, but I think they're the same as the sparring type because they are super bouncy. Thought they were worth a try at $36. My Rival RB11s offer the same protection with much better wrist support, and you can actually feel your punches. If you don't mind bouncy gloves, these are probably a steal at 50% off.
Thanks for your feedback
Are these better than the ringside bullet sparring gloves?
Yes
What’s the price?
Did you watch the video?
Hey carlo what hlove would you recommend for a hard puncher who needs ro protect there hands and sparring partners at 145$ or under
Rival rs1 2.0
Oooof any at $145 or under
Are these good for bag work? beginner here
Yes
Can i use this for heavy bag training? Is this a good first pair?
Yes you can
@@csquaredboxing Is this a food first pair? I have seen many reviews and i think i'm going with this pair. Or what pair would you recommend for a beginner?
Thank you nice job this one or venum elite
Venum
@@csquaredboxing thank you very much
Thank you bro 🙏
Thanks
Witch synthetic is better bro this one or venom elites ?
I like the elites lore
Hows the hand compartment on these?? Is it wide?
I answer that question in the video
which gloves would you recommend for aqua bag
These
Try some leone gloves
Will do
These are the gloves I have that I use on my bags. Considering getting another pair. Any thoughts on the best most durable pair of budget gloves that will last on heavy bag and that arent made from leather, I try ri be true to vegan best I can
👍🏼🥊
You tried the uk ringside gloves you can get it’s not the same as the us try the ringside g1 or g2s also other ones take a look
ruclips.net/video/kPNCVxIi7Rc/видео.html
Also got the g2 out now and they have loads of different ones try the more expensive ones
ruclips.net/video/QRohI3_bdxw/видео.html
Not yet hopefully soon
I know people that swear by these gloves but the pair I had barely lasted a couple of months. Little to no thumb or wrist protection, stitching came undone, started to smell after a few uses, and the liner slides around. Hard pass in my opinion.
For sure
Carlos please review the DECHA Muay Thai gloves
I have it’s on my channel
csquaredboxing thankyou my g very helpful 💙
How long should the apex last
All depends on you
Realistically 6 months with heavy use (bagwork, sparring, mitt work)
This one or the ringside apex flash?
Carlo who needs the s back with another one
🙏🏼🥊
The best place for these gloves is on your sparring partners hands! Not so bad to get hit by, but man they suck to wear.
👍🏼🥊
Agreed, they are pretty protective for the person being punched
I almost wish they did a fat L on the left hand logo
Lol
Overpriced. I say just get an IMF clone from R2C. 🤷🏻♂️
Yup
I just got these and I have an issue with the inside cloth material sliding around and causing blisters to my knuckles, anyone else have this problem and know a fix?? Thanks all
Wrap your hands maybe? Haha
I just got these and I have an issue with the inside cloth material sliding around and causing blisters to my knuckles, anyone else have this problem and know a fix?? Thanks all
Sounds like they may be too big
@@csquaredboxing you know if they come in different sizes not only weight wise bc i wasnt able to choose size like small, med, or large. thank you!
@Ralph Celestial yep I do every time I box
