This is by far the LONGEST video I have ever done but these gloves STARTED IT ALL FOR ME! I was 15 years old when I started collecting boxing gloves and the Ringside IMF tech boxing gloves started it all out for me. I would also say this is by far my most detailed review to date and for sure my personal favorite review so far. I really hope these gloves speak to you all as they have spoke to me. Ringside is one of if not my favorite brands out there because they have something for everybody! Used by champions and athletes worldwide, these gloves have really become the Ringside boxing staple and one of the most popular gloves of the last 5 years especially in the USA. Ringside started the IMF tech foam craze and most people call it "ringside foam" nowadays because of it. I put time stamps because of how long this video is, but I hope you all enjoy it. If you are looking for a pair of gloves at any level and you are thinking about getting a pair to start the sport out, I say look no further! - Спорт
Been waiting for this one!
I hope it was worth the wait!
Love your content bro, just got the blue ones and I can't wait
Great review! Always love your content. Keep up the great work.
Always looking forward to your comments dude!
Damn! This dude always replies to his fans. Keep up the good work
Love those gloves. If they came out with some lace ups in that style I would buy them immediately
I agree!
Another banger
very good explanation.. thank you .
Great video thank you for the info.💯💪🙌
Thanks for the great comment!
Great reviews I’m getting my first pair of cleto reyes today and I’m gonna be reviewing them soon😍
Post the link!!!!
@@combat_corp I’ll post it when the vid is done ! :)
@@combat_corp just posted the unboxing on the gloves! Absolutely in love with them!
Your videos are great
Love the tight hand compartment in the gloves. Totally different and better overall compared to their newb training gloves I got for my first pair called “pro style training gloves” for like $40
Great video
What would you recommend for bag work among Ringside Apex, Venum Elite, and Title Soft Strike gel?
You should do a review of the fighting training gloves laced
Just bought a pair of those online. Even though they're XL, they're very tight. It's hurting my right palm. Should I wait for them to break or should I return them?
Definitely a step up from the crappy everlast gloves from a sporting goods place these ringsides perfect for beginners
100 percent my friend!
If you buy Everlast buy from their website they have higher quality gloves I love the ones I got there. The ones made in India out of leather are worth buying the ones made in China are not. Their power lock leather gloves are great. Not the ones that are fake leather sold in sporting good stores, those are crap. I also have ringside, title, and Hayabusa they’re all great.
power locks are ok but the padding deteriorates pretty quickly I agree they're more expensive gloves are of some what better quality but there are far more superior brands of gloves out there for the same pice. Never tried hayabusa gloves before but they did peak my interest when the t3s came out I'm just not a fan of dual wrist straps. I really want to try the h5s
@@mannythelegacyamaya pros use Everlast so the quality is good bro
@@kylerobison1425 can i buy everlast powerlock boxing gloves around 99.99 usd?
Hi Al, I'm truly lucky to have stumbled upon your channel and I've subscribed!
Two questions that I really hope you can take the time to respond to:
1. I find myself landing my hooks to the body on the middle set of knuckles/joints instead of the main set of knuckles in 14oz gloves. Is this common?
2. I'm thinking about getting a pair of bag gloves which are really small and light--the ones that you see old school boxers use on the heavy bag. What are your thoughts on these please? As a follow-up as well, do we still put on handwraps if we wear these small bag gloves?
2 years later can you answer this question?
Had the gold ones for about a year. And by the end u couldn’t even see the ring part where the knuckles r. I’m pretty sure it’s from the sweat off the bag. And it’s seems like it almost peels it
so basically because of the imf tech even if they say sparring good they're still usable on the heavy bag?
What do you spray in the inside to clean them ?
Hi Al, glad to have found your video. I’m an intermediate and have decided to buy these as my next pair after watching your video. I want to buy 12 oz gloves. Should I go for the L/XL size
These gloves are the truth
Have you ever tried the bullet?
I am a big guy and only train on a heavy bag atm, 16oz would be perfect right?
Absolutely!
Value for money terms. Which do you prefer the Rival RB 50 or these. RB50 are $70 while the Apex are $60. What do you think is better for bag and value?
Well the rb50 is without question better for just bag work but if you want a glove that does it all, get the Apex
@@combat_corp ok thanks
Ringside be making sexy gloves ngl
SUPA SEXY
I have a question
you mention that ringside gloves are very top heavy and tire your hands quick, can you recommend a few pairs of sparring gloves that feel light? thanks :)
Not just ringside but every glove will be heavy just depends on the OZ that you get usually you should spar in 16 oz but if you want you can use lighter then 16 oz for bag and if your professional then yeah obviously they use lighter but 16 oz or 14 is a good oz depends on your weight aswell
I want gloves that I can practice with like on a bag but I also want to be able to spar with friends too. I'm looking into these gloves but I don't know which ones I should get. I want gloves with foam that won't wear down and that are good all around. What would you recommend.
Use different gloves on a bag vs sparring. You compact the gel and foam on the bag, and the protection breaks down. So if you have been hitting the bag consistently, then Crack your buddy in his noggin you could break your hand. I got two fighters out with hand problems now.
Coach Rob
@@realrobh Thank you man i appreciate that. I remember typing this 3 years ago lol
@@dopenation1025 lol just saw that... glad to help, hopefully you are still boxing
@@realrobh I never got classes u fortunately. I want to really badly and i still love boxing. I want to compete
Do I need a pair for sparring and other one for hravy bag?
For these? Not entirely but in any case with most gloves having two pairs will make them survive longer
Are they real big in the inside and also is the wrist at least decent
Wrist is great for me and there is plenty of room for me!
Do you like these more than the Fairtex BGV9
I think these work better for everyone but the bgv9 is more durable but more expensive
My guy. How many gloves do you own?!?!
Uhhhhhhhhhh 120 something???? Not including the mma gloves. Haven't bought a new pair for a little bit though
@@combat_corp absolute savage. And here I though I had a lot with 24 pairs. Lol
Let that collection grow brother, I keep buying boxing gloves I got a problem lol. I’m gonna end up with a big collection too 😂
@@kylerobison1425 I'm in the same boat man!! Lmao
what category of gloves would these go in?
I'd say defensive because of how rounded and large they are
@@combat_corp what about the everlast elite pro boxing gloves the ones that are $40 dollars
@@combat_corphey man. What gloves would you consider offensive? I want to know what makes a glove offensive and then know the difference between the offensive and defensive
@juanmedina9792 I do have a video on this as well, but for my own system, I divided gloves into 4 separate categories. Pillow style, Puncher's Style, and Defensive style. The 4th I just call a hybrid style that takes more of these. Defensive gloves for me are typically very rounded at the top with very thick padding to create distance between your knuckles and the target. Because of this, the glove is taller and sometimes more bulky. I call them Defensive because you see a lot of high rolling defenisve style of fighters use these gloves to block their head easier and catch shots better as well. Also, most Defensive punchers (in my opinion) rely off of counter punching much more and sometimes have hand issues. So I call these defenisve gloves because of the size alone and how rounded the are at the top. Maybe I could make a different name for them
I have the 18 oz version of these and they are enormous
They are huge!
Only outside look is good. The most important the thing they put inside is too thin..
Whatever it may be Indian product Shiv Naresh is the best company.
Damn I thought dude was like 35+
I get that a lot! I've always been a bit bigger and looked older (hairline has been receeding since I was 16 so it doesn't help.) I'll be 24 in August! 11 years off 35! Lol
@@combat_corp lol just the vocab and how you describe and present the product definitely made me think you were older. Great content btw!
Of course it's big because all 16 oz gloves are big hahahahaha
