I had no idea these babies made such cute, tiny noises! That was so heartbreaking to know in the beginning he was calling out for his Mama though 😢

His human ''momma'' killed his true and only mom in order to enslave him. Wild animals (especially rhinos and elephants) are being sold to zoos, enclosed hunting grounds, sanctuaries( hidden labs), etc... Not to even mention huge d o n a t i o n s they bring ! You are a dreamer.

Excuse me, poachers do not kill rhinos and elephants for any reason except profit. They are not wounded creatures, they are monsters who brutalize these animals and leave traumatized babies in their wake so they can turn a buck selling horns and tusks to unscrupulous buyers in Asian countries.

Amazing to see how much effort these people put up for these magnificent creatures hopefully with enough conservation efforts rhinos will avoid extinction I also think it’s pretty interesting that the white and black rhino got along with each other so well having such different mood, social, eating behaviors and whatnot

I read it as “This woman’s kids are orphaned by baby rhinos” and I immediately thought of that clip with the baby rhino and the guy saying “even the babies are one of the most dangerous animals on earth, so I built this cage to- oh my gosh!”
So many orphans. Very disheartening but glad for people committed to their survival.

All baby animals are beautiful but there is something " extra cute " about a baby Rhino, with those huge feet and the way they skip and jump as they run just melts my heart.

Rhinos are so precious. About 10yrs ago, it was almost guaranteed I would see a one when driving to the beach. Now we can only see them in sanctuaries. Can’t believe we’ve pushed them so close to extinction🥺

Even though they are big and seem scary, Rhinos stick very close to their mothers and they are extremely emotional. In fact, the distress caused by separation at a young age does such emotional wreckage that it becomes a cause of death in majority of the cases.
