- On this episode, Coyote and the crew visit Zululand Rhino Orphanage in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Here, they meet a “little” orphan rhino named Leko! Despite being a baby, this rhinoceros is built like a tank, and one wrong move could put the crew in danger. I like the dynamic of Dorothy being with Laiko so hilarious. It's like they're friends only because of proximity and Dorothy is always so upbeat and energetic with Laiko slugging around and constantly complaining. I wish we knew what they actually were like other than just in this 8-minute video.

You can clearly see how rhinos and horses are related in the way rhinos and horses gallop. I had no idea that horses and rhinos are even related until this video! Thanks for the education, Coyote!
Love watching rhinos especially when they run. Babies are cute and adults are magnificent. Dorothy is a little rascal. No boundaries, no fear, it's so cute how she hopes on top of him whenever she likes and God had to head with a rhino.

This is one of my favorite videos y'all have ever done. I dont know if you'll see this but it brought a tear to my eyes. Humans can be so amazing if we can just all get along. Ugh thank you for this video.
This video is just too cute! The goat makes a great buddy for him. I'd love to hear how a baby rhino, raised by humans, is prepared for reentering the wild. I would also wonder how much it would affect their wariness or fear of humans.
If you're interested in how they are reintroduced to the wild. Look at the website and it will usually detail the process. I think they are often monitored after release because of the danger of poaching.
If you are interested in the subject including other organizations the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust has spoken about the difficult process of reintegration. Sheldrick Wildlife Trust has raised at least 15.
I don't know the numbers of the specific place. There's multiple places that rehab rhinos. The Rhino Orphanage also does so.
Just imagine going on a safari trip years later and seeing Leko all grown up and with a family
