Hi Tim, My F350 says its in production as of 5/20 and it could take a few days. I did just get a message saying its "unfortunately experienced unexpected delays". Any idea on what that could be and how long it will be? Also I noticed the picture of my build shows regular step bars and not the standard power running boards with the Lariat Ultimate package. Should I be concerned it isn't being built correctly? Or is it just a standard picture and it will be built with the power boards?
That is just a standard image for all Lariats. We don't know what delays it could be. Typically it's a bottleneck getting them shipped out from the factory. The status will stay at "In Production" until it ships out, then it moves to "In Transit".
Ford and other automakers need to stop producing the current model year models in July - Aug at the latest. Ford must not produce 2024 models until Dec .. like they did last year. People don't want old models at full prices. Dealers still have many 2023 models in stock and some 2022 models .. and the manufactures don't give dealers any large discounts to move these units off their lots.
I have an order for a Raptor Ranger it went into production on 04/24 and got put on a QC hold. It does have bead lock wheels. Do you have any idea why it has been on hold for almost a month? Thanks!
It's impossible to know. I think they are making sure every Ranger Raptor gets a very though quality inspection. I would assume that is what is going on.
Hello Tim, I’ll be celebrating a year aniversary of an order - Ranger Lariat 4x2 - 5/31/2023 official order date, IN Production status since January until now. Miami dealer says that don’t have any update… sad to wait 1 year for a simple truck. How can I have any information?
Unfortunately the factory and shipping does not communicate with the dealers so we have a hard time getting answers on production and shipping holds. I know it has been a year since ordering but production didn't start until late December/early January. They also want to make sure every truck is perfect, they are taking their time to make sure the quality is top notch so they don't have a bunch of recalls and issues.
@@longmcarthurford yes... ok... but since 1/18/24 the truck is in production status! 4 months and nothing moves, it already has window sticker and everything, so the truck is assembled! this is a simple truck, not a Porsche GT3, right? If something is not right they must advise the client
@@msmia6610 It is frustrating for dealers trying to get their produced vehicles delivered to them. The major problem is those vehicle holding lots and lack of organization.
I’m confused. I listened to the video and I thought you said the Heritage is closed out for retail orders. Dealers can order stock for Limited but not Heritage? I am confused.
@jrollo4741 correct, order banks are closed for Retail Heritage and Heritage Limited. If a dealer has an allocation for Heritage Limited and they don't have a retail order already in their system, then they have to add a stock order to use the allocation.
Hi Tim, I’ve just got a confirmation email from Ford on Ranger Raptor order. Does this mean my order has been submitted with allocation? Or it is just generic email says my order is in the order-bank? Much appreciated!
If it is the email stating that your order was received then it's just that. Once your dealer has a Ranger Raptor admission available and Ford chooses your order then you should get an email with your vin number and the scheduled build week for your order.

My dealer says they are getting an alocation, but i keep not getting scheduled for my ranger raptor.
I would ask them how many Ranger Raptor orders they have.
@longmcarthur I think it's crazy how there is no transparency for the customers. I'm stuck just taking their word.
Are 2024 Heritage 2 dr being produced as of May, 24. I have an order in this week.
Yes

I would love to test drive a Mustang Mach-E Rally
