Do we end up giving an antigas med like a simethicone for the postLap has or just ambulation?

Hi Deb, Simethicone based meds aren't contraindicated, but it's also not necessary for everyone so it's not a standing order. It won't address the "gas" that is left over from the procedure.

Gail Lupica omg yes I didn’t think about it that, but so true and great reminder! The CO2 would be pumped outside the GI tract where we use the simethicone! You always make me understand things so simply thanks again!
