I'm sure you hear this all the time but you are saving me! Normally, I can do the readings and that's how I learn but during COVID I just cannot focus long enough to read. Watching the videos is helping much more and everyone in my cohort agrees that you're saving us. Thank you for all that you do! There will soon be more bedside nurses who've kept pushing through their programs because you were there for us.
Excellent lecture! My mum is a nurse, and now I work in a clinic as a support worker. I've always been fascinated by anatomy and medicine, and I love working in the healthcare field! Instead of curiosity this time, I'm watching this video because I had appendicitis followed by a prompt appendectomy last weekend!
i just passed with excellent (A) at my exam on general surgery!!! Ι am a medical student from Greece and, where one of the topics that i had was "acute appendicitis". I studied about it via your lecture.. so the A mark goes to you, you are really talented and passionate at what you do! keep going and thank you very much for your great work!
I took the Saudi Council Prometric Exam today. Aside from answering tons of questions in books like Saunders, Lippincott, and Mosbys, I watched your videos. I passed. Thank you so much for what you do! I will continue to watch your videos. 👍😃
LOVE your teaching methods! I study lecture notes, review the content in NCLEX, then watch a corresponding video that you have posted-I attribute all of that to my success as a nursing student! Thank you for making nursing school "make sense"!
These videos are seriously the best. I have struggled this semester with topics in my Med Surg 2 class. I have a GI/GU exam on Wednesday. Have been watching your videos for the past week and feel more prepared than ever! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Hi, My mother's appendix ruptured and she didn't do anything about it for 5-6 days and she had her surgery today and the doctor said it went well and they cleared all the infection, but they said they found something hard in the abdomen (stomach) / intestines. ) they say there may be an infection gathered there, do you think the infection, bacteria collection could cause such a thing or could it be a tumor? Is this normal or appendicitis due to infection? What do you think?
People should be aware that the pain from appendicitis is not necessarily felt in the lower right where the appendix is located. Last year I had a terrible stomach ache and thought it was food poisoning. 24 hours later I went to Urgent Care who then sent me to the ER.
