"Big Box" method she describes for determining rate is easy to remember as follows.... 1st box is rate of 300...or divide 300 by 1(1st big box)....2nd box - divide 300 by 2 =150....third big box, divide by 3 (100).....4th big box, divide 300 by 4 (75).....5th big box, divide 300 by 5 = 60........6th big box, divide 300 by 6 (50).......7th big box, divide 300 by 7 (42.8 or 43)....see the pattern? So in summary, 1st box is 300....every other box is take that 300 and divide it by the number of big boxes you've traveled.
