The sweeping earth on the base from the Zaku's foot 😽 an excellent detail and really adds to the dynamic feel of the diorama Very well done! I Love it!
Damn dude I’m just watching this in the background as I paint and I just looked up at the end. Holy smokes! I’d seen some of the Japanese builders doing some cool effects like this but your the first one I’ve seen do it on RUclips. The slicing effect looks pretty convincing and perfect poses. This channel is criminally underrated imo.
Man, I really appreciate that. Funny enough, Ray Studios tutorial on the flying sparks came out just as I was finishing this so I got to try it out for myself in this build. Talk about perfect timing.
That monoeye customization with the fiberglas is genius! I love that soluation! That was such a nice collab that you guys have going on! More of that please!
You and Nu_Type93x did so well. You continually blow my mind with your work. I don’t know which project I liked more. Yours or his. You can both shine together!!!
Took longer than expected to get this out due to life and stuff but totally habppy with the results. Glowing beam sabers looks so good! I wish it was easier to do so I could do it on every kit, almost. 😊
That was a surprise so I apologize I did it off camera. But It was just painted with fluorescent yellow and orange. The sparks were fiber optics painted with fluorescent paints and stuck on with glue.
Thank you. For practice?I would recomment zakus or gms personally but it's what ever you can grab. Older kits have less armor detail so are more fitting to practice adding detail on.
@@johnnymechahand thanks. And what kind of tools and paint do you recommend? I’ve built my first SD kit and wouldn’t mind practicing on it to develop some skill before tackling my bigger kits
@@ZombieDude0001 That's a good plan. Don't get super cheap tools. You'll hate the results and think it's not worth it. Get some mid tier tools. Dspiae is a good brand with a wide selection. If you wanna try scribing, get a 0.15 mm and maybe a 0.4 mm too. Those will be enough to start. For paints, I like gaia and mr color. i recommend Mr color though. Easier to find and not that expensive. It's ok to start out with.
i don't like bandai's dry decals. they are too thick and no amount of top coat can hide them. the rub on decals are very difficult to apply because there is no space between the decals to cut and then secure onto the space i am generally okay with the water slide decals but have handling issues with the bigger pieces like the shield crest of the sazabi.
I agree completely. Bandai waterslides are ok, the larger ones give the most problem. It's like you have a time limit after getting them off the paper.
I was so let down that they made these P Bandai. What a scam. They make a major movie and then hide all the best suits behind P Ban? That’s just a dick move and they knew it. They literally don’t care about what the real fans want and it’s a shame.

Glad you liked that detail. That made the base not too plain looking. Thank you man!

Thank you bro! And thank you for the audio help. It may still not be top notch but it's better this time and a step in the right direction.

Awesome! Especially the lit slashed area on the GM!
Thank you man!

Great directing and pose!
Awesome! 👍👍
Thank you! I never imagined I'd get a comment like this. I appreciate this motivationg comment so much.
That’s a cool little drill. Who makes it?
My hand drill or the router? My hand drill is from Dspiae, and the motorized drill/router is from David union.
absolutely amazing scene. When and how did you make the slash on the GM?

@@johnnymechahand definitely a surprise. Beautiful work.

They want to squeeze as much out from fans as they can. Truly disappointing that they're not retail kits.
