In this third update video, we’ll see how the young tamarind trees (Tammy the Tamarind, Tamarindus, Indica, Tam #1, and Tam #2) grow while they are in the Texas spring weather from March to October 2020 once they go into a winter greenhouse.

Looks great. I'd love to meet your tamarinds one day, I have a few seedlings that have struggled to grow past seedling size for more than a year now

Hello, ive been growing three tamarind trees for about 2-3 years now, my biggest tree has the width of tammy but is half as tall, and my other trees arent as big but they seem to be doing well. I am worried about fall and winter cold, but I do not have a greenhouse. I havent been able to find good information on tamarinds until i found your channel.
Do you have any suggestion on do's and dont's to keep my tamarinds alive during the cold season? Im not sure how they survived. I live in North Carolina.

Tammy attempted to flower in August 2022. But no fruit yet. They drop a lot of leaves while in the winter greenhouses. So, they take time to regrow, which might be during the blooming period.
I hope to do a 2024 update soon. I’ll transplant all of the trees into bigger pots!
