    Gustav Mahler (1860-1911) dessen 5. Sinfonie teilweise in Maieregg am
    Südufer des Wörthersees entstanden ist, gilt als einer der bedeutendsten
    Komponisten der Spätromantik. Das “Adagietto”, der 3. Satz der Sinfonie, für
    Gitarre von Hirokazu Sato arrangiert, wurde von Kyuhee Park im Zuge der
    GMPU Guitar Days großartig interpretiert.

    👏👏👏👏👏👏👏구스타프 말러 교항곡 5. 4악장 adagetto를 가끔 들으면서 이 선율을 클래식 기타 연주곡으로는 어떻게 편곡 되어 연주될까 상상 했었는데. 정말 대한민국의 자랑 세계적인 클래식 기타리스트 박규희 씨가 연주하는 라이브 공연을 보며 감성에 젖습니다. 슬프도록 아름다운 감성적인 연주를 통해 마치어떤 사랑이 글썽이는 눈물을 삼키는 듯, 고요한 새벽 밤 달빛과 은하수의 윤슬 빛이 호수 위에 은구슬 처럼 비추는 것 같은 애잔한 사랑의 여운이 느껴집니다. 정말 아름다운 연주 고맙습니다.

      It’s been tough to find the arrangement notated without buying her book! I’ve been looking for the Sato arrangement for a while

    와... 기타2년차인데 궁금해서 들어와봤다가 넋놓고 봤다. 왼손 운지 난이도도 미쳐보이는데, 그 와중에 오른손 높낮이 조절하는것도 미쳤네..

    Very nice but she only played the first part 3 times with different techniques - block chords, tremolo, arpeggios etc.. Was it too hard to transcribe the rest of the movement? Would have been nicer to hear the whole thing.

    Mahler must have been a pretty boring man. A good melodious idea, and instead of elaborating on it he simply repeated it a couple of times.

      Agreed. His music always reminds me of Philip Glass in that respect. I do admire his concise approach though.

      @@johnplunkett John, this was a joke. The Adagietto is wonderful and by no means repetitive, but this lady on the guitar sort of castrates this movement by only playing the first part and simply repeating it a couple of times.

      I agree - I was joking too, 'concise' is not usually an adjective ascribed to Mahler, who is about as far from Philip Glass as you can get of course! 😆. She is a fabulous player in other contexts, but clearly the guitar as an instrument is out of its depth here... @@joachimsaxer4812

    Fantastic microphone probably but the resulting in an awful recording really. I'dd prefer a smaller, more intimate room setting with less (artificial?) reverb. I don't feel lonely...
