    I watched this video about a week ago and placed the order for both front and rear. Product arrived very fast. I have everything installed which was also fast and easy. Great step by step video made it very easy to install. So far so good!! I'm 6'00 and still have plenty of head room and I don't feel like I'm setting on the floor anymore.

    Never seen a better install video and can tell you take editing very seriously. As an owner of a 2020 Tacoma TRD Pro, you bet I'm subscribing to see what other cool goodies I can add to my truck. Given the thickness of the front seat mount for your firearm, consider adding a 2" wide Velcro strap (just the soft side of the Velcro pair) around the tip and bottom holes. This will hold your clip based holster firmly in place so you don't risk jerking out the holster along with the firearm in an emergency. You can get a 50' long roll of 2" wide Velcro soft side from Amazon or under $15.

    Ordered mine on Monday, they arrived today (thurs), got both seats done by myself in less than 30min thanks to this video. Used a 8” piece of 2x4 to prop the seat back instead of tying it off, worked great. Seat feels wayyyy more comfortable now. Thinking about trying the rear spacers too. About to take a 2500mi road trip soon, this mod should make the long hours in the seat a lot easier on my back. Totally worth the price IMO 👍🏻

      It raises to seat position up in the front to give you a bit more leg room. It works very well. I have longer legs.

      Oh man, that is so cool. The holster I made myself but you can buy them from GCode holsters or a bunch of other brands. It is an In The Waistband holster with a tab at the bottom of the belt clip. So functional. You will love it.

    use loctite! mine already came loose twice because i didn't use any threadlocker when i first installed them. and i used a torque wrench so torque wasn't the issue.

    How did your holster attach to the MMP? I'm wondering how secure it is, and if to use something like Safariland's QLS system. Thanks in advance!

    • @AdventureBuilt
      @AdventureBuilt  3 года назад

      I attached mine with an IWB clip. It’s pretty secure but sometimes on big hits it will turn a little sideways. I think the QLS system might work really well for a duty holster type setup. I usually run in the waistband holster when I’m in my truck though. Let me know if you can think of something that works awesome with the IWB holsters.

  • @tcepilot
    @tcepilot Год назад +2

    Not to be a turd, but if you don’t hold a torque wrench at the handle… well, you change the actual torque being applied. Same goes with using a cheater bar or crowsfoot etc

    • @AdventureBuilt
      @AdventureBuilt  Год назад +1

      Definitely not a turd and it totally agree for the most accurate reading but the tools I have are not super accurate and the force is read at the head of the tool. It won’t make a massive amount of difference for this type of install. Now if I was assembling a motor or something where torque specs are king then I would definitely do things much different.
