Well the whole point isn't really the guns being bad, it's more the guns being bad for conceal carry (maybe open carry, idk) and a flintlock pistol or a black powder revolver aren't really good for conceal carrying. Since they're black powder guns that are slow to reload, especially the flintlock.
I would love so much if some guy came up to me one day and yelled "Gimme all your money bitch!" and then pulled out a flintlock pistol and began the long arduous process of loading it.

The Luger is no joke man! It's actually a truly precision firearm! It is better suited for competition and to a lesser degree civilian law enforcement due to it's maintence regimen. For guns made before 1900 (even replicas) they don't need any paperwork and can be taken anywhere( I wouldn't try on planes though) they are considered antiques and not considered firearms. So even in cities like New York you can own a flint lock

I own a percussion lock revolver very much like the one you showed. You forgot to smear grease on the end of the cylinder after pressing in the balls. Without this, you will get frequent chain fires, where the cylinder in line with the barrel ignites a loaded chamber next to it. It will not damage the gun, but it does send a second round off at an angle and you lose the next shot.
If you use the proper size bullets, which shave off a ring of lead as you seat them, chain fires are not a problem. The grease over the bullets just makes a mess if you carry it for a while, attracts dust and dirt, and gets blown away by the previous shots. Unless you are doing a lot of shooting at the range, the grease isn't worth the bother.

I've carried a C&B revolver back when I was a teenager. Paper cartridges speed reloading. But no, I wouldn't do that today unless I had no other choice. In the wintertime I may carry my Bolo Mauser with stripper clips as it fits into my coat pocket and is easy to pull if needed. Good stripper clips are key as they make loading happen in just about two seconds. But if you are not well versed in using the weapon then don't. All in all, very good video. With the flintlocks, you'll want to carry 4 or 6 for boarding actions. They are handy as clubs once spent. The full-time carry trick with the Colt .36 Navy, is to only load five chambers, so when you're smashing roasted coffee beans with the butt, you don't gutshoot yourself before breakfast. Hammer rests on empty chamber. For the C-96, you want to be an Asian Warlord, and keep it in the woodstock/holster on a Sam Browne Belt, over your fancy Generalissimo's uniform. Best mode of transport is a Palanquin Chair, carried on the shoulders of 4 beefy Mongolian dudes, also well heeled. The newer stuff I don't know about. But the abbreviation "Mk" is pronounced Mark.

I carry a .45/.410 derringer loaded with synthetic black powder cartridges fairly often. One of the loads is so powerful, it's actually near the pressure limits. The primer flattens completely. It fires a hollow-point full-wadcutter, that expands to about .63 caliber in water... it's actually scary. It's a .45 caliber hole-punch, that punches a bigger hole once it enters flesh.
It's actually theorised that the nambu is designed that way so Japanese soldiers could pretend to surrender and catch an American soldier off-guard with an action which looks like they're surrendering their gun.

I carried a c&b revolver when I was 18. At the time no one was helping me purchase a gun and to buy it away from private sells I had to be 21. Ended up getting comfortable with it and carried it (car/open) until just this year where I could afford and have the opportunity to buy a glock 21. I will say with nipple upgrades, it's reliable enough for a revolver. Don't regret the purchase at all.

The Luger is no joke man! It's actually a truly precision firearm! It is better suited for competition and to a lesser degree civilian law enforcement due to it's maintence regimen. For guns made before 1900 (even replicas) they don't need any paperwork and can be taken anywhere( I wouldn't try on planes though) they are considered antiques and not considered firearms. So even in cities like New York you can own a flint lock

I own a percussion lock revolver very much like the one you showed. You forgot to smear grease on the end of the cylinder after pressing in the balls. Without this, you will get frequent chain fires, where the cylinder in line with the barrel ignites a loaded chamber next to it. It will not damage the gun, but it does send a second round off at an angle and you lose the next shot.
If you use the proper size bullets, which shave off a ring of lead as you seat them, chain fires are not a problem. The grease over the bullets just makes a mess if you carry it for a while, attracts dust and dirt, and gets blown away by the previous shots. Unless you are doing a lot of shooting at the range, the grease isn't worth the bother.

Just because I have the freedom of speech, does that mean I have the freedom from the responsibility to accept the consequences of using/misusing it?
Anyway, it's not like owning 5 guns for every window is ever going to save you from government oppression. If the government really wants you dead, they'll send tanks. Or Predators. Or missiles. Or assassins. The government has developed ways to kill you without sending soldiers to shoot you, and thus get in harm's way. We call it, "tactical warfare," or ,"Surgical Strikes."
But, most likely, they'll just send SWAT to your house and have you arrested, then bribe a jury to give you life in a Supermax prison or the death penalty. The government is very, *very* powerful, and to allow yourself to think that an AR-15 will save you against a SWAT Team with ballistic shields, tear gas, and flashbangs is dangerous to yourself.

I've carried a C&B revolver back when I was a teenager. Paper cartridges speed reloading. But no, I wouldn't do that today unless I had no other choice. In the wintertime I may carry my Bolo Mauser with stripper clips as it fits into my coat pocket and is easy to pull if needed. Good stripper clips are key as they make loading happen in just about two seconds. But if you are not well versed in using the weapon then don't. All in all, very good video. I carry a .45/.410 derringer loaded with synthetic black powder cartridges fairly often. One of the loads is so powerful, it's actually near the pressure limits. The primer flattens completely. It fires a hollow-point full-wadcutter, that expands to about .63 caliber in water... it's actually scary. It's a .45 caliber hole-punch, that punches a bigger hole once it enters flesh.
It's actually theorised that the nambu is designed that way so Japanese soldiers could pretend to surrender and catch an American soldier off-guard with an action which looks like they're surrendering their gun.

I carried a c&b revolver when I was 18. At the time no one was helping me purchase a gun and to buy it away from private sells I had to be 21. Ended up getting comfortable with it and carried it (car/open) until just this year where I could afford and have the opportunity to buy a glock 21. I will say with nipple upgrades, it's reliable enough for a revolver. Don't regret the purchase at all.

Fix bayonet and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He Bleeds out waiting on the police to arrive since triangular bayonet wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as the founding fathers intended.
I prefer to carry my Dreyse Needle Rifle, while wearing my pickelhaube. I was in Paris, carrying my trusty Needle Rifle, and a Frenchman tried to mug me. After he saw my needle rifle and pickelhaube, he just started flying his white flag, and running the other way.
To the French a BB gun would have the same affect lol
