HK Models 1/48 scale B-17G “Tape Up” review.

HK Models 1/48 scale B-17G and their B-17F Flying Fortresses are the first updated kits since the Monogram B-17G and the Revell B-17F were released back in the 1980’s. These kits feature a complete, highly detailed interior, petite recessed panel lines and rivets, and excellent fit. Due to the way the molds were designed the fuselage on each kit has several parts, which makes for challenging seam work.
In this “Tape Up” review Mike walks you through the assembly of the kits main parts and he provides recommendations on upgrades.
