Orioles will win the division and eliminate the Yankees in the postseason if neither team makes significant changes. The Orioles roster is better even if they are slightly behind in the standings. Both teams obviously will do something at the trade deadline though, so this conversation is stupid to have in June. Sal wanted to cry about the Yankees in the World Series already today, and I’m saying they have competition. Rangers would be dangerous in the postseason, too if they can get going. I don’t think anyone else challenges the Yankees in the AL.

Some Met fans enjoy watching baseball, Sal. We also know not every game will be won... And diehard Met fans, also know that more often then not, the team won't make it to the postseason, but we will cheer them on tomorrow regardless. Maybe you are too caught up in wanting big news and big money players, and not actually into the game of baseball and rooting for your favorite team. I think it's time you revisit Citifield alone and enjoy the day in the sunshine watching some baseballs get thrown around regardless of the score. No friends, no booze, no betting. Just baseball.☮

When I became a NY Mets fan in the 1980s, they where the dominant baseball team in NYC; and we all know what has happened since then. Mets have hit ROCK BOTTOM with the Lindor and Alonso combo along with overall poor pitching since those glory years of the late 1980s.
When someone tells you who they are, believe them. SAC effectively said it was going to be a down year - and it is. Also, Soto ain't leaving the Jankees.
