Pete Rose was my favorite player growing up in Cincinnati, he played hard, slid headfirst into the bases and just got on base..a lot. Was crushed when he left for Philadelphia but he came back and we got to see him break the all time hit record in Riverfront Stadium. Sept 11, 1985

He talked to her while we were all watching a ballgame on tv. He was nice to her and I was thrilled to be seeing him in person. One of the biggest baseball stars on earth. The greatest ambidexterity hitter in baseball. His batting average 2.95 right handed and 2.92 left handed. Pete Rose has 4256 hits the most in Major-league baseball history. This is my question? What’s the difference between cheating and betting? Can you win a gold medal 🥇 on steroids? So why are baseball players who were caught red handed using steroids in the baseball hall of fame? On the statue of justice that’s 50/50 cheating and gambling pretty much equal to each other.
