    Pete Rose was my favorite player growing up in Cincinnati, he played hard, slid headfirst into the bases and just got on base..a lot. Was crushed when he left for Philadelphia but he came back and we got to see him break the all time hit record in Riverfront Stadium. Sept 11, 1985

      The greatest ambidexterity hitter in baseball.His batting average 2.95 right handed and 2.92 left handed. Pete Rose has 4256 hits the most in Major-league baseball history. This is my question? What’s the difference between cheating and betting? Can you win a gold medal 🥇 on steroids? So why are baseball players who were caught red handed using steroids in the baseball hall of fame? On the statue of justice that’s 50/50 cheating and gambling pretty much equal to each other.
      Pete Rose should be in the baseball hall of fame not the hall of shame where he was put. So is my answer right😊 or wrong?😑

      @rondellschuyler7074 No there isn't in regard to the rules of baseball.
      Most people I have heard on this want him nowhere near the hall of fame.
      He certainly doesn't deserve to be.

    Thank you for having Pete Rose on the show. There are a LOT of haters, that’s Morgan an Bench included. HOF here gentlemen!

    • @MountainFisher
      @MountainFisher 10 месяцев назад +2

      Bench isn't a hater, he told it like it was. If Rose had come clean, went to rehab he only would have been suspended. Rose never would have went to prison and the FBI made a deal with the organized crime bookies to forgive Rose's hundreds of thousands in debt. Bench also knew about Rose bringing underage girls to Spring Training camp and making the other players uncomfortable as Hell with them hanging around the clubhouse.
      Rose didn't care that possibly one of these 13 to 17 year old girls could falsely accuse a player. Imagine if some 14 year old girl accused Johnny Bench of having an affair, he'd never be able to live it down, just the accusation was enough back then to ruin a player. They stayed away from the girls and none of the Reds was accused of statutory rape except Rose according to John Dowd who was the investigator who made the case against Rose. Rose got out of it because Ohio's age of consent is 16, but not Florida and she claimed their relationship started way before she turned 16.
      Dowd didn't put the statutory rape charges in his report as they weren't relevant. Just like he didn't put Rose's betting against the Reds by betting ON them every night except when he didn't, remember he owed some unsavory characters up to half a million dollars by all estimates. Don't think they did not notice when Rose didn't place bet ON the Reds. It was a clear sign to bet large against the Reds. It is in the Cincinnati newspaper article I'm going to link. It is a long read, but also talks about Rose fronting money for drugs. If you want to read about the underage girls just Google Pete Rose and underage girls, John Dowd. You'll get a few thousand hits. I said nothing that isn't documented. Pete Rose is a pedophile scumbag and still lies, he's already contradicted shit he wrote in his so called tell-all book.

      @@dhruvadude808 Oh yea, Morgan has wanted Rose inducted into the HOF for a long time, but Bench said what was on his mind about it on the Dan Patrick show and has never changed his mind. Rose had his chance and thought he was too popular to knock down. It is Rose's fault he isn't in baseball and no one else's.
      Think about this, there hasn't been a single gambling case since Pete Rose. And MLB did not want to bring the hammer down on Rose, he did it himself.

    What a great player to grow up watching.
