    With the help of your video, I was able to replace the original window channels on my 1978 Ford Pinto Wagon. No more leaks when it rains! Thank you.

    Many thanks for this video & for the product. Just replaced door window channels on both sides of my ancient F600 dump truck. Parts fit perfectly and the silicone tip helped tremendously. So nice to close the doors and not hear everything rattle!

    Thank you for posting all these videos, getting ready for upcoming restore (was gonna be just a repaint, but you videos convince me to go further, and I have accumulated all of your seals) of my '77 F-150.

    Awesome video. Helped me out with no issues. Your WD40 tip was a life saver.

    I installed my door window seal and while rolling the window up it cocked backwards as it neared the top. I had to fill in under the rubber at the back of the glass in order for the window to have a tight seal and not allow it to move. It worked ok but i feel that the rubber is not thick enough at that point where the rear extension goes into the frame that holds the rubber seal.

    I have a 1971 F100 and i want to change all the rubber in both doors including the felt...possibly replacing the glass...it is leaking in the cab...I am not sure if there is rust inside the doors either...I will look at them this week!

    Good vid's, the only thing I would recommend is that on the vid about the vent window seal you would have got in a little closer with the cam, other than that they are a great help.

    Do you have anything for the tailgate weather strip for the '78-'79 Bronco?

      There is no video on the tailgate for Bronco at this time. We may add it in the future though.

    How do you replace the glass run with it still installed in the truck, wouldn't the glass get in the way?

      Use foaming glass cleaner to spray on the backside of the part and slide it down into the channel. Roll the glass up and down to help pull it down.

    How do you replace the vent window frame & divider bar? Would you please make a video, or direct me to a video, Many thanks!

    • @PrecisionReplacementParts
      @PrecisionReplacementParts  7 лет назад

      The divider bar is part of the vent assembly so it's the whole assembly that would need replacing.

    So I bought new window seals from lmc and installed them let's just say they must get there rubber from China couse not even a year later there falling out of the track and are rotton like the rubber just falls apart and cracks every where. I've looked everywhere for a company that sales rubber products for these trucks that don't rott in a couple of years. So my qustion is how well does your product hold up and where are they made.

      We've been selling the 73-79 Ford Truck line for years to several on line distributors. They are made from quality EPDM rubber which will last.

      Jessy Parsons I have this brand of parts for my windows I haven't installed yet but it does seem like good quality seals

    Is this similar to the kit from LMC?

    • @PrecisionReplacementParts
      @PrecisionReplacementParts  9 лет назад

      RedEyed Jack I don't believe LMC is using Precision on their 73-79 Ford line, but if they're selling it as direct fit parts, then they should be similar.

      It looks very similar. My biggest question was; does it require adhesive or not because thus window seal was missing when I bought the truck. Thanks for the fast response. If I hadn't already purchased this from LMC you'd have my business. Next time you will be my first choice!

      No problem.
      You do not need to use weatherstrip adhesive in this installation.

    You should be showing what you are doing inside the door.
    we don't know what you're doing with your other hand
