I have a 51 F1 with metal trim on the windshield, if I understood right, I put the metal trim in the weatherstrip before installing the windshield? Thanks for the Video....a great help!

Wished mine was that easy mine was over 20 yrs old rubber and glue removing great video and tips though .

Yes but it need's to be pliable.
Somehow it looks so easy. If I tried this I'd be covered in sealant and drop the glass.
