    Hey Brandon, I finally got the wi-fi on my build to work. Now it's running flawlessly. I'm little surprised how stable it is. I have everything working and what amazed me even more is that I was able to update Big Sur to the latest (as of today) version 11.3 from 11.2.3 and everything remains functional and stable. Never experienced a crash, nothing. Thanks again Brendon!!!

    Hey Brandon, first thanks for your video: you are very good explaining what others fail, I've been reading Dortania over and over without understanding.
    With your video a lot of concepts just got them right. Hope you make more explaining how to add specific Kexts, what are they for, add startup sound, etc. Your explaining would make it understandable.
    Cheers and congratulations on your great channel!

    Pro tip:
    1) prefer usb 2.0 port
    2) don’t use fancy monitors for first boot. Use simple 1080p60hz monitor. After setup you can use any thing
    3) Use most of things with wire(keyboard, mouse, ethernet,etc)

    Thanks so much! Worked great on my Asus Prime X570-P and Ryzen 5 5600x build. Only problem I had was the internet error when trying to download MacOS in the installation section, but managed to fix it trying an older version of Realtek kext

      Are you connected to Wifi or ethernet sucessfully? If yes, then check your config.plis for SMBIOS settings. I've read online since I had the same problem and turns out I had coppied the Serial and Board Serial from different sources. Tipo's can cause this too.

      0.6.6 is a huge update to OpenCore, it changes how the boot sequence is handled. In terms of performance yes, there is not a big difference.

After following your guide and from the Open Core Install Guide, I am currently stuck attempting to boot into Mac Recovery from the USB drive. Honestly this tutorial I thought was good but I don't recommend. It isn't as simple as it is to him. You still need to spend hours on reddit trying to fixup the steps he missed. Why was building the config file completely missed out of this tutorial!? It is make or break for the hackintosh!

    I have two SSDs. Can i make dual boot with this method? How will i switch the OS?

    • @TZD.
      @TZD. 3 года назад

      Hi there, you can do that by install windows or any other os you want on the other ssd… make sure that the ssd of hackintosh (macOS) is first to boot (configure that from bios in boot order section) and no the other ssd, and from the OC (OpenCore) bootloader, choose windows or any kind of os you’ve installed and that’s it… you’ve got 2 operating systems in your pc.
      Let me know if you’re don’t understand something .

    • @TZD.
      @TZD. 3 года назад +1

      P.s
      If you’re gotten already another os installed on your pc, you can also boot that from the OC bootloader.
      Just make sure that the “mac” ssd with the bootloader is first to boot.
