I am really not in the plastic modeling, but a few months back i made a plastic model, i made a King Tiger (it's a world war II German tank), the fitting of the part was amazing. The company was Takom, i do not know if they make any model ship. I believe with a quick search in Google you will find out. 😀
Wow the bow looked very Tedious if you had to do it again would have painted all the gold first then glued them together? I'm wondering if that would work better next time. I would love to hear what you would do differently if you had to do it again. Me I think I would bend then paint just from what you showed on this . That looked very tough to do great lob on the bow of the boat. Damn good job.
Thank you very much!!! It was tough ,one of the hardest parts of the model so far. If i had to do it again i probably will paint the Black and then glue it. The Gold was easy, just a little trickie on the upper and lower surfaces. But the Black was very difficult. The only problem with the parts painted before gluing them is that the glue won't dry quick enough, especially in parts which the contact surface is very small, and always it will destroy the paint where you'll apply the glue.
