    John, I’m going to buy this kit. It’s fricking expensive! I’ll have to get it from, Italy? I just wonder how long the shipping will take? For 500$ you’d think they’d miracle it here,lol!!

      You can buy it from OcCre, www.occre.com OcCre is in Spain, i guess 2-3 weeks for the States.

    Hello John. Thank you for the regular presentation of the videos, which show step by step the construction of the ship. Thanks to you, I am thinking of purchasing this kit to start assembling it. Do you think it is possible for a novice to be able to do it?
    By my calculations, the construction of the ship has lasted for almost 7 months (7 months on 2020-FEB-05). How much longer do you estimate it will take before the ship is fully built?

      Thank you very much my friend!!! You are correct, it's been 7 months and i estimate 1 - 2 months maximum more. If you are going to build your 1st model then don't buy Santisima, it is expensive and you have to have some experience before making a model like that. If you have build models before then by all means do buy it! And if you'll need any help do not hesitate to ask me! :)

      @@JohnsWoodenShips Thank you John for your advise. Which model do you recommend me to build first?

    • @JohnsWoodenShips
      @JohnsWoodenShips  4 года назад

      @@fungoal007 I would recommend something like this : www.occre.com/model-ship/albatros.html or this : www.occre.com/model-ship/hms-beagle.html

      Hello John. Thank you for your suggestions. I found this model that I really liked the look and the price www.occre.com/hms-revenge.html . From 1 to 10, what is the degree of difficulty that you attribute to building this model?

      Pedro... the worst question to ask is «when can I finish ?» or «How long does it take ?» Because there is always improvements to your technique you can apply. Time is not relevent, only enjoyment of creating something beautiful. It takes the time it takes... The point is to love what you do.

    With such a small nozzle on your glue do you ever have problems with the glue drying in the nozzle and clogging it up?
    I'm still working through your videos and still find them interesting and informative.

      Thank you very much!!! Yes, i constantly have to cut of the edge of the hose but they are cheap so it doesn't matter.
