Fun fact, not only is the location real, but so is the Land Rover, if you search the registration it comes up as a Petrol Land Rover, colour: yellow, first registered 31st of December 1966.
I recently retired and have started this hobby. Your videos have inspired me so much. Thank you. My grand children love your videos. For that memory I will always cherish.
Poor lass, I'd be wanting something stronger than a coffee after driving that Landie for three and a half hours up through Wales (from Ledbury Road Motors near Tewkesbury, AKA Pace on the A438) 😁 That's a suitable building for a model in its own right, but not a patch on the amazing example you found. Judging by Google Street View it's barely changed in over 15 years! Seriously, I get a lot of inspiration from your videos but this is very close to home and is particularly inspiring for a specific project I'm working on, set in North Wales. Very nicely done, Martin. 👍
Such a great piece of work. I really really like this one. Great to hear you having so much fun with it, because in the end the fun part is much more important then the result. But you seem to hit both the fun and result nail every time. Thank you so much for showing us.
24:28 "giant, orange, rust like stain" - that's the water falling off the roof, hitting the dirt below and jumping back on the surface of the building. This is why you see (in old architecture) elements that stop this. It's the number one decay, akin to a "chinese water drop", but against buildings as water will spray the surfaces with minerals that will take effect on paint, stones, metals etc.
LLanrug is pronounced something like ‘Hlanreeg’ as you would write it in English or maybe like ‘Hlanríg’ in Slovak? Amazing that You’re making a diorama from my small country!
OOO-Man! It never fails whenever I watch you for your amazing diorama builds or Plasmo for his aircraft builds. I am always inspired to get back to painting as well as turning more of my large pile of grey into (hopefully) the little pieces of artwork they've always meant to be. 🤓🍻
Thank you very much, muh friend, as always, for another video of your incredible artwork. It’s a painful wait, for each new video…but I wouldn’t want them even a day sooner, if it meant any drop off of the attention you pay to the details of your builds. You’re a master at your craft, sir🤙
i cannot believe you made the washers underneath the bolts at this scale. i mean. i absolutely believe it. every time there are tiny nails, bolts, and especially welds its so cool! i sometimes watch videos to fall asleep, but when i watch these, i always end up staying awake to watch it come together.
I'd like to see uncle nightshift go all out on like a gothic church facade, and make it a bit abandoned, recreating something real, that'd be amazing. And put it in a picture frame.
I have climed regularly near there, wild camped, cycled, MTB and hill walked. Even driven past that garage a few times, but given how long ago that was, I don't remember it. Great video as usual.
I love your channel and constantly review all the videos.I am a modeler myself and I love miniatures, but sometimes I do not have the inspiration and desire to continue making, but your videos help me to continue.I'm sorry for my English, I'm writing through a translator
This is why I love the internet! A Llanrhug diorama... why not!? The pumps are a bit of a local landmark. There's a lot of old industrial landscape mixed with natural beauty in this part of the world. Cheers for the quality content as always!
You and just about every other artist put together fantastic videos but when it comes to the end to see the final product, we need at least 30 seconds to one full minute to look it over and appreciate it so let’s do some more of it had another 30 seconds to your video. It’s fantastic.
My Canadian ass looking at this thinking "why is it parked with the driver side door right againt the wall?" Thanks for all the videos NightShift. Big inspiration for a Warhammer guy!
Your best project and video so far this year. Well worth the time you spent making it. Nice to see that your girlfriend made an effort on you as well. 👍
A Yorkshire lass in Welsh Wales. Excellent work yet again. If my figures turned out half as good as your first effort, I'd be very happy. I may have missed the reason you chose the exact place on Google Street View, but there is a tenuous link between the Landy and Wales. 1885: The Rover Company began as a bicycle manufacturer in Warwickshire, England. 1947: The original Land Rover design, inspired by a Jeep axle and chassis, was created by engineer and Rover Company Chairman Maurice Wilks, while Wilks was with his brother Spencer on their farm in Wales. Keep on building.
Would love to drive up and take pics for you, it just on the other side of Wales from where I live lol (5 hr drive). You must have a fan that lives up that way!
Hi, I really like your videos, and I have been your subscriber for a long time, I admire your work. I have my own hobbies, and in particular I create dioramas, but I am far from your level, it is a pity that I cannot test vms products, since I live in a country under sanctions, but modeling should be outside politics, but we have wonderful AK-Interactive products, which we really We are glad. Thank you for your efforts, sincerely, from a modeler from Russia, and know that we have many modelers who look at and appreciate your work.
Another great job. Really loved that diarrhea, what do you like? How you use a different colors you used on the shack always love watching your videos. Can't wait for your next one.Keep up the good work

All of the Land rover painting choices on the box are real and the vehicles still exist at the Dunsfold collection (Land Rover Museum) England.
I recently retired and have started this hobby. Your videos have inspired me so much. Thank you. My grand children love your videos. For that memory I will always cherish.
I'm a Welsh viewer, I've definitely heard worse pronunciations of Llanrug! Excellent work as always!
Let's see Paul Allen's pronunciation.
Ridiculously stunning as always, and world class filming / editing too.
Much love from France 💜💜💜

I was worried the location of the shack and the origin place of the Landie would be completely off, but 3,5 hours isn't actually that bad! :)))
The detail here is sublime. Just amazing.
This is the village that my Father grew up in, I've been past it many times. Fantastic work as always

The cork tiles look ultra realistic! Personally I enjoy watching all building building.
Great diorama.
BTW the kleft rear view mirror is bound to be detroyed once the car starts moving...

Great work. Looks amazing.
Those doors!!! You were not kidding. They are a project in themselves.
Duuuuude, finding the spot is so cool.
Hell yeah
You're my favorite channel for painting

That was me - I sent the link 💪
The real MVP of this project!!!
I have climed regularly near there, wild camped, cycled, MTB and hill walked. Even driven past that garage a few times, but given how long ago that was, I don't remember it. Great video as usual.

29:21 I can't believe you treated the seam at the BACK of the diorama with the same zeal as a detail IN the model!!
stunning - you have the eye of Michaelangelo and the patiance of a Saint
This is just superb, thank you so much!
Unbelievable, looks absolutely amazing

Super build, especially like the Corrugated Shed, nice effect. A master builder in miniature
Crazy good diorama, my friend 👍
Beautiful diorama. I love your work and it inspires me to make my work even beter.
6:55 I can't believe you carved the bricks and then stuccoed all over that!! Talk about true to life!
stuff like the fully painted and detailed little cannisters that got hidden behind a small frosted window is why I'm subbed to this channel.
Dude, your models are so freaking good. Thank you for the video!
Truly awesome work. You are an inspiration to all modelers you have totally got me back into the hobby after some time off. Thank you Muh Friend..

9:38 Cheeky Uncle Nightshift never dissappoints! 😂
Wouldn't mind seeing a in-depth video just on painting techniques for old/new/rotten wood. The results are just awesome!
Martin I just had to watch this again ,totally inspired. Fred

2 Plastirion Ter
Llanrugs, Wales
Directly across the street from Y Glyntwrog (a traditional inn).
Hooray, Martin! I am 4 seconds in. I am excited to see your new work.
A wood sealer can help you achieve an even stain on your veneer. Gives you better control over how much stain soaks into the veneer.
Morning wood never felt so good
I live in South Wales, but the old fuel pumps are in North Wales, about a four hour drive for me! Would love to check it out one day!
Nice looking model I have this one and two more land-rover to do looking forward to your next one
