Even though this video is 2 years old, I have a idea to a new pikmin video. My thought is, what happened to us? I don't mean when has pikmin done stupid things to us, I mean that what happened to humans when pikmin came to the planet the team went to. To explain further, to extend the radar of the world you need a globe of earth, another example is that pikmin 3 and 2 had earth like equipment to upgrade the crew or the ship like cell phones in 3 to go farther and power ranger action figures ( not fully sure) to give more resistance to damage in 2, the last example is in 3 where the garden of hope and the wistful wilds (?) look like Antarctica and Australia mashed together. My point is that when Olimar came to earth with baulborbs and pikmin, where did we run of to?
Awesome video, very in depth. You should do more analysis videos on games you're interested in, you're definitely good at them. I can't wait for Pikmin 3! :D
One of the first YTers I watched...
What I heard was that Olimar and Louie are not playable at the beginning for an unknown reason.
But it is confirmed that Olimar will appear in the game, though he might not be playable...
As for the part where Louie's mumbling to Olimar, going by the ship's description on Louie, maybe he has a deeper connection with bugs then previously thought, to the point of being able to telekinetically "hear" bug's thoughts in his head. Since Olimar and Louie are almost constantly surrounding themselves in bugs during the adventure, it would make sense that Louie wouldn't get a break with the voices in his head.
That stuff about the Titan Dweevil's weapons...some deep stuff man
Actually, there is one more thing Olimar's daughter says.
"Dear Papa.
I do nothing but study. I hate it.
Please come home soon."
If you keep going to sunset, you notice that this actually repeats.
Do more of this like giving details to sequels and possible plots
I think you should view some game-play from people at E3, and talk about that. I also think you should talk about pink pikmin, which fly. I also think character 'd' is a dude with a jetpack, who flies around with the pink pikmn. I think the biggest thing should be reviewing the trailer, and talking about what that could come from that.
THANK YOU DAZZ! I'm not the only one who understands this! However, if I combine your theory of Pikmin 3 with mine, I can get the full understanding of it. You see, Olimar got a promotion in Pikmin 2, so he got the blue space suit, and his son got his old one. Then, his wife/daughter got a yellow space suit, and the other one will get another space suit. Then, I saw on Olimar's notes on an item that when he returns from hocotate, he's gonna take his wife on a long vacation, which happens to be
Another thought that is a little less likely is that Louie was upset the entire time... Notice how many times through the game, the ship always talks about how Olimar isn't going through the procedures with Louie about how to command the Pikmin. Maybe Olimar isn't paying any attention at all to Louie. This also explains why he might be mumbling: "Olimar? Uh, Olimar?" Maybe because he's trying to get his attention. And when Olimar left Louie on the planet, that made Louie snap.
No, the President's Wife isn't named Bessie (as far as I know)
I just thought "The Big Bessies" matched with purple pikmin, welcome to my mind of randomness xD

Yeah I know! I never really realized that until like last year when they hinted that he was controlling the monster at the end of the game! This game has a pretty wicked hidden dark side when you think about it!
Dazz, think about it, Louie ate the golden pikpik carrots, maybe when he sais "Olimar? Uh?" he's trying to tell Olimar.. But Olimars either ignoring/nit hearing him or it just wont come out , hence the "uh" part

I think it's because that Olimar may not have been entirely dead when he crashes, only unconscious. Thats why if you get him to sleep and the pikmin bring him to the onion, he can break free because he's alive. The bulborbs are actually dead.
I like re-watching these and seeing the right and wrong theories. :)
Notice how Olimar jumps when he sees the asteroid and swerves to avoid it.
its from the first pikmin game. There is an enemy who releases spores that turn the pikmin purple and against you. They never change back.
It seems like they're going with a tradition of 2 pikmin per game so all those onions you saw at the end of pikmin and pikmin 2 could be for futur pikmin games
So Dazz, are you suggesting Louie is like Wheatley from Portal 2?
And maybe ABCD are there names. A stands for Anthony, B stands for Britney, C stands for Chris, and D stands for Drake. Maybe Anthony Britney Chris and Drake are the character names? It could be possible. And in super mario galaxy, there was a pikmin 2 ship in one of the galaxies, so maybe they got stranded and the new characters are looking for them, and at the end, THEY FIND THEM :D
u should do a vid on possible features in SSB4, like new charachters/stages. (stages: Comet Observatory/Starship Mario, Hocotate Frieght, Pac-land, Rayman level, Wistful Wind, etc.)
In a scene that you have to complete challenge mode to get, it tells you that Louie actually faked the giant bunny, but instead ate the carrots himself.
31:13 When louie looks down, I started thinking he was looking at the titan dweevil. Thats what I thought when I beat the game.
Has anyone LOL'ed yet at the part where he's mumbling in that cutscene with most thoughts being "Mmmm.. bugs..."
I just noticed something. In Pikmin 1's opening cutscene, you get hit by a meteor. In Pikmin 2's cutscene, Olimar dodges a meteor, convieniently placed outside of the Pik-planet. I SEE WHAT THEY DID THERE.
"The new, *Slightly estatic* BLUE, *dull tone of voice* Louie"
i think that the louie thing has to do with ,well when you're alone for days on end

I don't think Louie controlled the Titan Dweevil, but I believe he was involved with the Dweevil's actions. Dweevils are said to mimic the things they carry. The Titan Dweevil could have been mimicing Louie.
Krysta Yang, Public Relations Specialist for Nintendo, has also stated in an interview that there will "definitely be more pikmin" than the Rock Pikmin

Honestly I think they could just be the new generations, If you remember on Pikmin 2 whenever you discover something new that was not in Pikmin 1. The Rocket Pod said he would keep record of this for future generations. I've notices that was said quite a few times on Pikmin 2. My guess Pikmin 3 characters are just this new generation.
Brittany has kinda got the same glasses as the presidents wife in the actual game when character C and A are charlie and alf and fharlie looks like the president
You should do one on the best ending of pikmin 3, It says this: But, the question remains, was the crash of the S.S. Drake really an accident, or was it a plot to destroy our 3 intrepid explorers for good? More or less.

I don't know about Louie being evil, it makes sense though, if you look at all the evidence. Maybe Louie wasn't actuallly influencing the Titan Dweevil as it was too busy being influenced by the abundance of weapons on it's body. However, after everything but Louie is knocked off it, it has nothing else to mirror but Louie, specifically his brain pattern, and becomes harmless. This would imply Louie is actually harmless, right? Pretty unlikely, but just a thought.
i think D is Louie's son/nephew, A is Olimar's nephew, B is Olimar's niece, and that C is the presidents relative.

There are actually more SPAM characters, they just show up randomly. For example, there is another SPAM character that appears to be a robot of some sort.
Also, do acknowledge that the art provided for the 4 new leaders are just concepts.
in pikmin 3 olimar and louie are on the planet and at some point louie contacts you and says him and olimar are being attacked,espessilly olimar.

I have an idea, let's say louie wanted to eat the pikmin because they look like pik-pik carrots which as the mail said he loves. He uses the Shock Therapist to kill the pikmin except for the yellows. The Comedy Bomb is for the yellow pikmin to kill them. The Monster Pump is to wash off the poison from the yellow pikmin, and the Flare Cannon is to cook the pikmin for eating.

Louie runs away from the pikmin, when he discovers it for the first time. With the mentality of a bug, he thought it was a threat. Hm.
Another spoiler:
Louie did it. He lied about the "space bunny" and due to his extreme hunger Louie ate every last golden PikPik carrots. It's believed that Louie was on top of the final boss because he didn't want the President to find out. Don't believe me? It's in bonuses once you get a perfect on every challenge mode level.
BTW, not sure of anyone noticed this, but in the description of the video you said you "delved" deep into Pikmin and Pikmin 2...delved

i just figured out something! when you talked about the possible characters about luie's family you said there where only one we know well in pikmin 2 I've found that the president (of hoccatate fright) said in a message that luie's AUNT brought cookies and in 9:14 the first sentence said luie We've stop hearing from you are u OK? so really there is more family members that luie has
They didnt leave him there on purpose...maybe he was giving them the final test to see if they are really smart and strong.

analizing the second game deeply, it's actually really posible that one of Louie or the ship are evil, most likely Louie. That's what makes me think they made Pikmin 3.

I have a theory, maybe the new captains (by that I mean A and B) are grown up since Pikmin 2 and that's why they look different.

Actually they will change back if you kill the mushroom monster quick enough. He used the attack on my Pikmin but I threw some more reds in there to finish off the monster, the red Pikmin that got zombiefied for a brief moment returned to their normal selves. Also, I heard but don't know for sure, that if you whistle the mushroom Pikmin enough they will return to normal.
and you have too collect food to feed every one or get him food or something.

I was wondering about louie. I thought there was something wrong about him, but I never thought he was evil until I watched this video. plus i think olimars son will be one of the people in pikmin 3

I was thinking that, wouldn't be surprised seeing as Zelda split off into three timelines based on Ocarina of Time's possible endings.
hired the military, hence why The General is there, but also hired a diplomat, hence the woman, suspecting Louie and hoping to reason with him, Olimar's son must've gone to go on an adventure and to save his father and carry out his legacy. And finally, the possible, Louie's father, maybe Louie's dad is evil to and tried to save his son, and imprison the new team trying to helping Louie, leave them, fly home, and say he and Louie were the only that survived.

Louie hasn't been seen in any pikmin 3 gameplay yet. Characters A and B are in the trailer though.
About the whole Louie theory. I believe Louie is just a complete idiot, and decided to eat all of the pik-pik carrots because he wasn't thinking straight, and he was very hungry. When he went missing, he might have run away due to the guilt of causing the company so much trouble. He might have hijacked the Titan Dweevils brain because he was scared that Olimar and the President would figure him out.
I always kept thinking,what if Louie chose to stay behind on the pikmin planet? i mean he loves bugs that planets full of em he maybe thought that if he stayed behind he would feel that he is where he belongs or maybe he thought he could be the ruler of the bugs of the planet. That makes me think that it is for that reason that he could controlled the titan dwevil using it against olimar that was trying to get him off the planet maybe thats why he wants to be called the King of Bugs.

yeah actually, the idea was Olimar IS an alien (to Earth!) and the mysterious planet is a farfarfarfarfarfar(you get the idea) distant future of Earth without humans, so everything grew and mutated differently.

character B looks like a new character because in pikmin 1 Olimar was new, in pikmin 2 louie was new and in the middle of pikmin 2 the president was new.those people look like character A,C and D. now i think because there was 1 new person in pikmin 1 and 2 new people in pikmin 2 there will be 3 new people in pikmin 3 including character b and i think the new people will be the spam people from pikmin 2
Why is it when olimar goes into the onion he turns into a olimin, but bulborbs don't turn into bulbmin?
um i kinda think you have done everything you can do for pikmin 3 though you seam to have an idea for pikmin i do not:( as a future episode though you could do somthing about the new fire emblem game or just somthing from e3
