    Well done, great effort!
    I have been playing approx 30 years and tried sweep picking at different times but inconsistently. I recently decided I would devote 2 hrs of practice every day to sweep picking until i can do it smoothly and consistently. It took four weeks to achieve this and to be honest I surprised myself as I really struggled with this technique. I still have many more arpeggios to learn but once you have gained the technique learning new shapes and getting them up to speed is definitely easier.

    @pathaleyguitar9763 6 лет назад +5

    Very nicely done. Now here are some nice and easy sweeping songs that you'll have fun with ;)
    1. Jason Becker - Serrana. Pretty Easy. shouldn't take more than a few hours
    2. Nevermore - Opening arpeggios from Psalm of Lydia. Even EASIER. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes.
    3. Escape the fate - This war is ours. So easy that you should be able to play this without even practicing
    4. Dream Theater - Glass Prison. A nice warm-up
    5. Born of Osiris - XIV. Really shouldn't even be on this list. I mean it's so easy that you can play it with only upstrokes and a pinky.
    I know it's all pretty rudimentary but hopefully you won't fall asleep playing any of these. I'm 3 and have only been playing guitar 4 years and can play them all backwards at the same time on an inverted upside down piano...because they're all so easy.
