Hi Elizabeth, this is my first time listening to this song, and I enjoyed the performance. Ad Infinitum is an amazing symphonic metal band, and i liked the gothic vibes throughout the song. Melissa's vocals, and the band were incredible, and I was impressed by the effective visuals of the Castle and the shooting Flames. Thank you, Elizabeth!!! 💙

Your approach to every song' being proposed is heartwarming. It is more than evident that you adore music and you can clearly discern every detail in a way that most of us cannot. But that's the majestic thing about your channel, we can "hear & feel" music under a different prism, even though we have probably heard many of these songs several, countless times before. One song that you will probably enjoy breaking down is "The Pan Within" performed by "The Waterboys". For me, it's a masterpiece. I'm pretty sure that you won't regret it. Thank you once again for your amazing work.
I am glad you discovered Melissa Bonny. She is super talented and super nice! Check out Ad inifinitum 'Marching to Versailles', there is an acoustic version. Melissa Bonny also does a cover of 'Lollipop' with Rage Of Light that is great
Finally, the beautiful and talented Melissa Bonny makes her oft-requested Charismatic debut. As a bonus, we get the awesome Nils Molin, and Mrs. Zharoff can decide what is more impressive, his voice or his hair. I think it's going to be a fun October! Also, I'm pretty sure Elizabeth gets her nails done at Erebor.
Ah, Melissa. One of the singers I adore in the last few years. Not to mention how adorable she is in interviews. I’ll do all I can to join the live chat in the morning.
Nils has one of those voices that work well with anything. You gotta hear him in Amaranthe. They have 3 vocalists (1 female, 1 growly male and Nils), and they blend together perfectly
After the video.. recommendations? Well, the other song they've release for this album, 'Unstoppable', is amazing. Every time I hear it, I want to hear it more. From the earlier album, 'Marching on Versailles' is excellent, leaves you wanting to join the French Revolution. 'See You In Hell' is a very pretty breakup song.. for breaking up with someone permanently. 'I am the Storm' is I think their oldest song, and is very much Power Metal. Melissa was also in a band called Rage of Light, which is described as 'Trance Metal/Melodic Death Metal'. She eventually left them, as she realized she was overextended and in too many bands. But I rather like 'I Can, I Will', and 'Twilight of the Thunder God', the latter being a cover of an Amon Amarth song. And there's her guest appearance on songs by Feuerschwanz and War Kings.
If you want to hear more of Nils in Amaranthe, BOOM!1 is a good song to start with but you won’t hear much of their female singer, Elize Ryd (except for one line in the song). If you want to hear all three of the singers, Archangel is a good song to check out.
I love that band and Archangel is a great song, but whoever edited the music video needs a slap. It has more jump cuts than Taken, so probably not a great video candidate unless you can find a live version
Just found your Channel with the Jonathan Young reaction to Hellfire and I'm also a big fan of Melissa Bonnie so as for ad infinitum I definitely recommend you listen to the song Unstoppable and marching on Versailles the latter of which definitely shows off her potential for deep guttural growls that you don't often see with female singers outside of the metal genre, also she has another group called dark side of the moon that did a metal cover of game of thrones 'Jennie of oldstones', and as for more Jonathan Young I definitely recommend his Phantom of the Opera or bells of Notre Dame covers
You should check out Jenny of Oldstones with her new band The Dark Side Of The Moon! You'll be surprised and it would be great to see your reaction to this!
I love that you're listening to some bands that I'm not seeing too many other reactors listen to. Ad Infinitum is one I found over lockdown and I really like them. There are some really great bands that don't get the recognition they should. Another band that I found is Dark Sarah. The song that really got me was Dancing with the Dragon. I had never heard a metal duet sung like this. It kind of felt like a musical dance. I'd love to hear what you think of it! You said you were thinking of doing it for Christmas...that would be an interesting choice. :)
If you haven't, you should check out Old Skule Nerd's channel. He pretty much specializes in acts not too many other reacters listen to! And Dark Sarah is fantastic!
I'm pretty sure they are on a stage/set, but love that it appears to be modeled after Vlad III Dracula's fortress!! Especially considering they have a track "Son of Wallachia"
If you want to take the plunge melissa has 3 other bands EVENMORE, RAGE OF LIGHT, and the newest collab band THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON. As for Nils he has a band of his own by the name of DYNAZTY And also yes he sings with AMARANTHE (my personal favorite band) but that band has also had other singers over the years so you would have to look into every line up for a total of 5 different vocalist. the lineups are from 2009 to 2013, 2014 to 2016, and 2017 to PRESENT The band consist of 3 vocalist each with distinctive styles all meshed together to perfection
Ad Infinitum are the most exciting new band in Symphonic Metal since the subgenre originated! They've got everything you're looking for - excellent songs, arrangements, great vocals and soaring harmonies. I would rate their work as at least equal to anything the SM "big three" (Epica, Nightwish, Within Temptation) are doing - and I speak as a big WT fan. AI deserves to be massive if it keeps making quality tunes like this one. Oh and I love the T-Shirt.
If you plan on checking out more of Ad Infinitum, I would highly recommend Marching on Versailles. It was my introduction to the band and remains one of my favorite songs of theirs. Also, your reaction to the song ending was exactly how I reacted. I wanted it to keep going forever.
I really enjoyed this, Cool video, music was good but, Melissa's voice, I'll have to search for more of her music... Thank you for sharing this Elizabeth, This is one I saved & will watch your reaction again.. Keep Rockin Elizabeth & Melissa
About Nils: if you want to hear him, choose not Amaranthe but Dynazty - it's Nils' band, you can enjoy his voice in every aspect. My beloved song is The Human Paradox ruclips.net/video/B_8y-lmm08E/видео.html (quite old one).
I'd recommend, See you in Hell by AD Infinitum, Melissa's voice is solid, the video and lyrics are a great aesthetic, and the timing of a bell ringing is so perfect it's chills everytime I listen.
Ad Infinitum are amazing, my second favourite current group after Nightwish. Melissa has such a great voice and has done a lot of interviews with other reactors. Just saying you might want to arrange one. That would be great. She is such a impressive and wonderful human, very approachable. ❤️🤘🎸🇦🇺
If you didnt know Melissa can also Scream, in her former band Rage of Light, she did a Cover from Amon Amarth Twilight of the Thunder God, there you can see what she is also capable of, Melissa can do much, that do i like
If you like layering then definitely check out Amaranthe...they have 3 singers all with different styles that work on top of each other. Notable songs to check out: hunger, viral, digital world, and their cover of sabaton's 82nd all the way
Oh Melissa is one of my favorite vocalists. period. The also has a new project - The Dark Side Of The Moon - with members from Feuerschwanz and Amaranthe. Well worth checking out as well as she shows her "other side" to full effect on "Jenny Of Old Stones" their only single thus far Yeah this song is supposed to feel a little "vampiry" since the whole album is about Vlad Tepesh aka Dracula from a historical perspective.
I would really love to see one of this songs here: - "Eivor - Falling Free (Live at the Old Theater in Torshavn)". - "Ne Obliviscaris - Saturnine Spheres".
Thanks for, again, introducing an older musician to the amazing stuff that younger people are doing. Friends of mine are reviving the sixties - Thanks to you, I’m comfortable and excited in the twenties.
Ad Infinitum's Marching on Versailles, See You in Hell, Fire and Ice, and I Am the Storm are some songs you should definitely check out. They also released Unstoppable recently.
This is the beginning for branching off to music breakdowns for Amaranthe and War Kings and I can't be more excited, Queen of the Damned and Nilis is a great pair.
Melissa is so talented, she has so much power and expresiveness in her voice and she can also growl, besides her popularity has been deservedly increasing during the last couple of years. You should check out Marching on Versailles from Ad Infinitum or Jenny of Oldstone from her latest project The Dark Side of the Moon
Marching on Versailles had me hooked on them - great to see you checking them out! ^^ This one in particular gives me some Kamelot vibes. Not gonna go into who's "better" of the bands - they're both great, this song just reminded me of some Kamelot stuff. :) I loved your "nooo" at the end when realizing the song was coming to a close, I wish some songs were longer too! x) Oh, btw - "Molin" is pronounced close to "Moleen" in English. :)
You should definitely check out something with her doing harsh vocals, she's pretty incredible. Hearing your take on some of her stuff with Rage of Light would be interesting too.
So now you listen to the second Amaranthe voice. Woudn‘t it be time for an Amaranthe reaction Video? You should checkout Archangel by Amaranthe and some Songs from Rage of Light, where Melissa is growling alot. Or Fire and ICE by Ad Infinitum or Tell Me Why ( Both Songs from the First Album Chapter I: Monarchy)
For more Ad Infinitum, "Unstoppable" was fantastic as well, also one of their newest releases. For Amaranthe with Nils, "Viral" and "Archangel" are from their latest album, great songs, Elize is amazing as well. "Countdown" "Helix" and "365" are a few good ones from the previous "Helix" album. And lastly with Nils' other band "Dynazty" I think "Presence of Mind" and "Waterfall" are a couple of very good recommendations. Would really love to see you cover some Amaranthe, they're my favourite band by far! :D
@@osez111 While I do agree those are good songs she did say she wanted to hear more from Nils, and I didn't feel like an "experimental" song in the form of "Boom!1" would be a good recommendation to get the proper "Amaranthe sound" if you will. And "GG6" is pretty much only Elize and GG6 which is why I didn't recommend it. I love pretty well all of their songs and I'd recommend everything if I could, but sadly "I recommend every song they have" is no help at all lmao.
Check out the german medival rock band called Feuerschwanz - they did a cover of a famous german dancehall song called "Ding" and Melissa did a guest appearance including vocals you don't expect!
I adore your honest, not only reactions, but enjoyment of the songs that you react to. If you ever have time, one of my favorite performance is brother from Matt Corby, the live acoustic version. he is an amazing singer and it is such a passionate performance! =)
Yes, some of those really high notes at the end were her. Also, just so you know Melissa has two other bands, Rage of Light and I don't remember the other name (Ever...something). She also has her own channel that she sings on.
Hello Elizabeth, Obviously I recommend Unstoppable which is the other single from Chapter II - Legacy. You can also check out See you in hell and Marching on Versailles. Now for more growls from Melissa, her side project The Dark side of the moon is a good pick with Jenny of Oldstones
You should check out their songs "Marching on Versailles" and "Unstoppable". You'll hear more of how dynamic Melissa's vocals are. As far as Amaranthe goes, everything is great, but Nils is a newer member in the group, having been in it for about three years or so now. I'd say check out Amaranthe's "Unified" and "365". Thanks!
Nils Molin is an absolute powerhouse of a vocalist. Ever since I got more into his band Dynazty I hopelessly adore his singing (and his hair...). Even though I love Amaranthe -they don't do him justice at all! He could sing or cover every song and collaborate with anyone he wants. His voice goes well with everything and anyone... His vocal range, his insane technical capabilities as well as his absolute control over his singing allow him to fit every style he wants. Higher or lower, crystal clear or with grit, soft or powerful, classic 80's metal or more modern sounding stuff. Dynazty, Ad Infinitum, Orden Ogan and several covers of classic metal songs... That dude can even pull off Powerwolf and it appears that his voice fits an organ just as well as synthesizers. Sometimes he sounds like he's a completely different vocalist. For a while I've been checking out every video there's to find of Nils singing. Especially interesting were cellphone videos of him covering Queen, Deep Purple, Bon Jovi and Dio (and many more...). I've come across comments calling him "Dio's lost son". I absolutely agree to that. There's also a Nox Rocks performance (in good quality) of Rainbow in the Dark featuring him. You should watch it yourself since you're a big Dio Fan as well. For a reaction I would recommend you "Starlight" from their album Renatus. It's a few years old but it showcases a lot of his vocal capabilities well. His Dio influence is present as well. A newer song would be "The White". Both should be quite interesting since his vocals are pretty different for each song.
Please make an analysis of Dynazty's Heartless Madness or their newest released song - Yours. Nils's voice is so clear, soothing and powerful at the same time - he's just amazing!
Thank you for introducing me to another band Elizabeth :D Only listened to Melissa in her colab with Feuerschwanz in their cover of the song Ding and that was completly different! Amaranthe's music is awesome in so many ways as well and I enjoy both the songs with Nils and with Jake and you can't really go wrong with any of their songs ^^
I would love to see you review Amaranthe! I think you'd love it. I know you've commented on liking Elize Ryd before and then there's Nils Molin. But the contrast between the female and male clean vocals, plus a growler is amazing. I think you'd appreciate it. Also I'm super excited for this album to come out. Definitely one of my new favorite bands.
Only recently discovered this channel; It's a real treat to watch someone falling in love with some of the greatest voices in Rock & Metal! May I request JUDAS PRIEST's cover of *Diamonds and Rust* ...originally by Joan Baez, believe it or not!
Very good indeed. Melissa reminds me of an 80s band called , All about Eve. Similar very cool vibe. I'm going to find out more about this young lady. I like what I hear. Your lovely channel has introduced me to some fantastic talent that I would never have come across otherwise.

Yes! Stunning song
Inferno or Digital World by Amaranthe should totally be watched and listed to! I love those songs so much!
Ad Infinitum, my favorites 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Nils shows off his potential to the fullest in Dynazty, his primary band. They've recently released a new track, Advent. Really powerful!
Elizabeth and Melissa... Owners of my heart
My heart can't take, man
I love that you're listening to some bands that I'm not seeing too many other reactors listen to.
As for Nils he has a band of his own by the name of DYNAZTY
And also yes he sings with AMARANTHE (my personal favorite band) but that band has also had other singers over the years so you would have to look into every line up for a total of 5 different vocalist. the lineups are from 2009 to 2013, 2014 to 2016, and 2017 to PRESENT The band consist of 3 vocalist each with distinctive styles all meshed together to perfection
Melissa Bonny is awesome!!
Two Songs, both by The Seatbelts. Gotta Knock a Little Harder, and Don't Bother None. These two song are absolutely phenomenal.
Oh this is excellent!! Thanks for introducing me to these guys :)
I really enjoyed this, Cool video, music was good but,
Melissa's voice, I'll have to search for more of her music...
You're absolutely right!!!
I'd recommend, See you in Hell by AD Infinitum, Melissa's voice is solid, the video and lyrics are a great aesthetic, and the timing of a bell ringing is so perfect it's chills everytime I listen.
Heard them live two month ago (I think it was actually their first live concert). It was a very pleasant surprise.
Ad Infinitum are amazing, my second favourite current group after Nightwish. Melissa has such a great voice and has done a lot of interviews with other reactors. Just saying you might want to arrange one. That would be great. She is such a impressive and wonderful human, very approachable. ❤️🤘🎸🇦🇺
The writing for the guitar is great in this !!
I agree. ❤
Might actually be the amazing tone of the 6 string bass
Her tone totally gives me Amy Lee vibes.
Really solid metal voice.
Another new voice to go check out.
One of the best things about this channel.
If you didnt know Melissa can also Scream, in her former band Rage of Light, she did a Cover from Amon Amarth Twilight of the Thunder God, there you can see what she is also capable of, Melissa can do much, that do i like
one of the best songs off that album and ultimately one of the best metal bands to come out in recent years, love them!!!
If you like layering then definitely check out Amaranthe...they have 3 singers all with different styles that work on top of each other. Notable songs to check out: hunger, viral, digital world, and their cover of sabaton's 82nd all the way
You definitely have to check out more Ad Infinitum AND more Amaranthe ! I'm sure you will love Amaranthe because they have three amazing vocalists !
Would be great to check out something from the first album to see Melissa's full vocal range. This track, although great!, is just pure power metal
Didn't know they existed....Do now ! Thanks looking them up.
Unstoppable by ad infinitum is a great song. Great videos ❤️
Oh Melissa is one of my favorite vocalists. period. The also has a new project - The Dark Side Of The Moon - with members from Feuerschwanz and Amaranthe. Well worth checking out as well as she shows her "other side" to full effect on "Jenny Of Old Stones" their only single thus far
Yeah this song is supposed to feel a little "vampiry" since the whole album is about Vlad Tepesh aka Dracula from a historical perspective.
You just can't beat two really fantastic vocalists going at it. Nils is slumming it somewhat in Amaranthe. The man has an incredible voice.
I would really love to see one of this songs here:
- "Eivor - Falling Free (Live at the Old Theater in Torshavn)".
- "Ne Obliviscaris - Saturnine Spheres".
Thanks for, again, introducing an older musician to the amazing stuff that younger people are doing. Friends of mine are reviving the sixties - Thanks to you, I’m comfortable and excited in the twenties.
Bring on the video, I like it!!👍
Ad Infinitum's Marching on Versailles, See You in Hell, Fire and Ice, and I Am the Storm are some songs you should definitely check out.
I loved your "nooo" at the end when realizing the song was coming to a close, I wish some songs were longer too! x)
Oh, btw - "Molin" is pronounced close to "Moleen" in English. :)
Can't wait for this one. I've heard a song of theirs on Liquid Metal (Sirius XM)
"Boom!1" and "GG6" are also relevant for a "singing" analyze. (yes, i love GG6 growling rap)
Dynazty - Waterfall, it's Nils band :)
Thanks!
Melissa never disappoint and Nils is amazing
Your reactions still amazing! I love them so much
Diana Ankudinova dropped "can't help falling in love with you"! We are waiting.
Heart 🖤- Barracuda
Please make an analysis of Dynazty's Heartless Madness or their newest released song - Yours. Nils's voice is so clear, soothing and powerful at the same time - he's just amazing!
Thank you for introducing me to another band Elizabeth :D
Only listened to Melissa in her colab with Feuerschwanz in their cover of the song Ding and that was completly different!
Amaranthe's music is awesome in so many ways as well and I enjoy both the songs with Nils and with Jake and you can't really go wrong with any of their songs ^^
Finally Melissa Bonny!
I love her voice, could you react to "I Am The Storm" from Ad Infinitum or "Archangel" from Amaranthe?
Yea, their voice mixed so nicely
Dynazty is nils band and it SOOO CATCHY
His songs are amazing
Very broad range from Rob on that track! 🇬🇧👍
Melissa Bonny features on a song called Sparta by Warkings. Fantastic vocals all around. Definitely worth your time and analysis
Her movements are mesmerizing too!
Melissa is amazing, so glad you did a video with her.
Very good indeed. Melissa reminds me of an 80s band called , All about Eve. Similar very cool vibe. I'm going to find out more about this young lady. I like what I hear.
Your lovely channel has introduced me to some fantastic talent that I would never have come across otherwise.
I love that you've discovered Melissa! Great band! Check out Tulip. The singer is a trained opera singer who is learning to use her tool in metal. Very interesting back story of the band as well, check out "Theater Of The Damned" to see how her influences in classical singing comes through
