Did you see Nightwishes announcement. Tank the tech reacted to it. And was little mad. Idk if I read it like he did. I had an impression that they were okay with it since COVID concerts were cancelled, and NW has had lots of new fans via these reaction videos.
25:54 Maybe I’m so wrong here, but there’s something that I only now picked up during the scream. Marko slides up to a certain note, then holds it there. Floor comes alongside him, but keeps going. Marko then starts to slide down, which gives us the split-second impression that the scream is about to end. That’s when Floor reaches higher to D, as Marko is already descending. I think that totally adds to the surprise factor. I think this is brilliant.
Another very sneaky but effective sound design trick is that they add a slight digital delay to Floor's vocal track just as she reaches the peak of her slide, giving her voice a haunting, layered effect as she holds at the top and slides back down.
I've said this already with Julia before, but it fully applies here too: I can enjoy Elizabeth's fan-girling over Nightwish as much as the brilliant performance itself. Thank you Elizabeth 🥰
Watching professional vocalists fan-girling/fan-boying over Floor Jansen only makes their reactions all the better. They recognize and appreciate the greatness even more than those of us uneducated in the fundamentals of being a singer.
Floor is such a fantastic singer. Back when Tarja left I was so sad, because Nightwish means so much to me. But Floor made me feel the songs again, in different ways and I am so incredibly grateful for that.
If you liked this, wait until you hear "Devil And The Deep Dark Ocean" from Buenos Aires. Awesome dialogue between Marko (Devil) and Floor (Gaia) with Floor vocal acrobatics galore. And pro tip: Stop and watch the picture about 2 seconds before the end. Absolute power pose by Floor with fantastic lighting.
The argument between the two characters in that song is just wonderfully done. The scream of frustration at the end, hits so hard. I always found it interesting after all that, Gaia does find some peace at the end of the song. It was more like a theater play than a song.
Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean may be my favorite NW song, especially the Buenos Aries version. Floor's incredible use of every part of her voice in duet with Marco. And her costume... You KNOW Elizabeth will love that one.
speaking of power poses: my favourite one is in "7 days to the wolves (live at wembley)" towards the end of the song in the fast bit she screams at the audience while holding the mik away, so you get the impression she screams right at you, you cant hear any sound so thats just a pure being in the moment kind of thing which i absolutely love
1st off: congrats to the expecting mother! Love your channel & reactions. Why not DO THE ENTIRE WACKEN CONCERT - 1 sitting- or in parts- as a live stream "party"? That's exactly how I remember this song as, "the slide". Nightwish is just plain overwhelming and perfect. HA! The only negtive, the songs should be longer. Perfection is almost impossible to find. Once you do, you just want more.
I just LOVE your reaction!!! Floor Jansen’s vocal prowess is truly extraordinary, surpassing all expectations. What’s even more remarkable is that during that particular concert, she battled a fever and relied on medication just to perform. This heightened my admiration for her talent tenfold. When she belted out “Ghost Love Score,” a performance that left us all astounded, she had already been singing for a solid hour! Floor herself revealed that when she stepped onto that stage, her ailment didn’t matter; it was as if her body and voice were guided by an innate muscle memory. There is no one in the realm of vocalists quite like Floor! She stands as a unique and unparalleled talent in her own right. I love her!
I love Emppu's solo in this one. His face and reaction during and after the solo is just priceless! In my head I imagine him also being surprised of what's happening on his guitar's fretboard, then relieved afterwards while wiping his face down.
Devil and the deep dark ocean from "Decades - Live in Buenos Aires" is another super performance of Floor and Marko. The song is nothing like Romanticide, but it is very "theatrical"...one of my favourite live performance of Nightwish. PS: another suggestion is to check out Rhapsody of Fire. Tons of material, their collaboration with Sir Christopher Lee is still unknown to many people...
100% agreed! Especially in this performance it always reminds me of musical theatre in the best way possible. This one NEEDS to get done on this channel ♥
I'd rather Rhapsody because they came before Nightwish doing symphonic and I personally liked the lione era more, yes they had him when they changed to of fire but this only worked for me for until from chaos to eternity then they lost me a bit. I however loved the collab wit hturilli and lione last year or the year before!
Slight correction, the drummer at that time was still Jukka Nevalainen, not Kai Hahto. Anyway great video yet again! While Floor is absolutely amazing singer, I would love to see you react to their older songs with Tarja as a singer, like "Wish I Had an Angel", "The Kinslayer", "Wishmaster", "Nemo", "Dark Chest of Wonders", "Ever Dream" or "Sleeping Sun" Another (Finnish) metal band I would like to see you react to is Amorphis. Their lead singer Tomi Joutsen has interesting style of mixing clean and harsh vocals, and their lyrics are quite often about the Finnish national epic Kalevala, which adds a bit of folk elements to their songs. Some songs from them include "Amongst stars" (which features another Dutch singer Anneke van Giersbergen), "From the Heaven of My Heart", "Enigma", "White Night" (featuring Aleah Starbridge), "Winter's Sleep", "Nightbird's Song", "Song of the Sage" and "Wrong Direction".

Ever since Elizabeth reacted to GLS, I have waited for her reaction to this. Especially wanting to see her expression on hearing The Slide, or Banshee Wail, as I call it. Ever Dream ESPECIALLY from this show at Wacken. There are a ton of videos of that song out there but I think several people will agree Wacken was just perfection.
@@Flagg795 her vocal in the Wacken version feels as if she'd finally found the pocket for that song. Earlier performances almost sounded (to me, anyway) like she was still feeling out the best way to physically sing it and while they were still great, the ease and comfort that she sang it at Wacken was perfection.
@@Angelos42 I dont want to start Anette vs. Floor war, but I don't think Imaginarium version of this particular song has anything to offer over live one. It is not heavily changed (as for e.g. Ghost Love Score) by Floor and main (musically and vocally) difference, besides Floors superior vocal quality, is amount of choir in the mix. And of course the fact, that Floor don't need that choir, she can perform that part by herself 😛. And honestly, I think, that Nightwish is always best live, at least when Tarja or Floor are involved.
Your channels always confirms me how closely related classical singing and good metal singing are. Very obvious that if you love both, you often are a fan of symphonic metal and it's complexity, and Nightwish as it's biggest representative. I also like (if not more) your special admiration for Floor's voice. Your channel is a RUclips highlight for me. Thank you, thank you, and greetings from Germany.
floor jansen is the best singer I have ever heard, the amount of vocal facets that she has, the passion with which she sings, she is absolutely special, she is unique. I would never get bored of listening to it. thanks elizabeth for the many analyzes of nightwish and floor.
Since I discovered Nightwish 6 months ago, Floor rapidly became my favourite vocalist of all time. My favourite female vocalist used to be Stevie Nicks but unbelievably Floor displaced her.... I know, I know, they're completely different and shouldn't be judged in that way, but I think when you consider your own tastes in music you just naturally form hierarchies in your mind, and this was mine. Anyway, Floor is a machine with the most human of souls... she's the best
I have to pace myself with Nightwish because I end up binging for days... I clicked on this video and by the time the guitar began, I had goosebumps from head to toe. I love Nightwish... *fangirl sigh*
My two favorite songs are 7 Days To The Wolves because Floor goes in beast mode (Wembly) and I Want My Tears Back just for the fun (Argentina). We were dancing.
Inner smile with her voice, that´s what I feel when I hear Floor sing, never could put it in words though. To me Floor is the best singer around, never get tired of listening to her. And Nightwish is the best band, so perfect match :) Thank you Elizabeth for your great and insightful reactions :)
I’m always struck by how DYNAMIC this piece is. The incredible proficiency and purity of the high D on Floor’s slide… and the way Jukka (not Kai on this one) beats his kit into submission is just glorious!
In the whole concert Jukka beat the s* of of the drums, and still sounds amazing. This is one short but powerful song that always brings me to a better place because of all that musical greatness.
Ghost River is one from this show that doesn't get as much love but it's a great tune for Floor and Marko. Also While your lips are still red is a great Marko tune, can't remember if you've done that one yet. Nice to see you revisit this band!
I know I will get sht for that but with Floor the song looses all the creepy elements. I want to hear the children in the background now have Floor sing it and belt it. It is not creepy that way as the song was supposed to be
There's an awesome song featuring Marko Hietala that just came out you should check out! It's great to see him jamming in his 'retirement ' and this has all the feels 🔥🔥🔥:ruclips.net/video/dHI64gOj6Tg/видео.html If you also want to see Marko Hietala with his old band Tarot in the 80's : ruclips.net/video/VimogVM3i9Y/видео.html 🤘
WOW. 🤩🤩 This has been such a long time coming. A Dream will be a Teatime interview between the best vocal coach / reactor on RUclips and arguably the best female singer of our generation 🥰🥰
Totally agree with your statement. The sad part, most people in the U.S. will never get to hear this beautiful artist because of the restrictions on the radio.
On so many places this was asked/sugested and i am realy wondering why it did not happen a long time ago. Management? Miscommunication. Whatever i would love it so much. Keep suggesting it. I allready tried on Floors channel as others did.
"Expressive" - one thing that not many people comment on is how Floor literally acts the songs out as she's singing. "Song of Myself" is a perfect example, but she also does it here up to the first belt part, watch how she acts quite sultry at the beginning then becomes a little cheeky as she sings the "poppy" bit. Amazing singer with an astonishing ability to portray the vocals and the music to the audience.
I missed the premiere 😱😔. Damn. Love Nightwish with Floor ❤️❤️. Elizabeth is fangirling like nobody else, and for good reason and the Floorgasms. They really are a match made in heaven. Thank you so much!! Made my week!!!
I would love to see a "tea-time" visit with you and Floor. I think the two of you would have much to talk about. As for Nightwish reaction & analysis suggestions, I've always enjoyed "Song of Myself". Happy Holidays all
"Tea time"? ;) I was already following Elizabeth's suggestion, with an accompanying beverage[in the same glass, btw] - "Hennepin", from Brewery Ommegang (almost-local) . Somehow, this seems to be a good to pair with Nightwish. (Especially the aroma? ) +shrug+ - don't know why, but it works. ;)
Has anybody seen when floor was on Beste Zangers? She sang Pop, Country, Opera, and some metal. Nobody on the show really knew who she was and she just blew them all away. It was fun watching floor sing in many different music styles perfectly.
Floor singing Phantom with Henk in that show was what got my hopes up that they would bring it back to their live set rotation but alas, now that Marco is gone as well… :´(
I was a huge fan of After Forever in like... ¿2001? and when Tarja went away I always thought Floor was perfect for them, she had a huge vocal range and different textures. She could sing in the usual "opera" clean high note range but also a more dirty screaming voice, she even growls in ReVamp. Time proved me right and I'm happy "Floor saved metal" as some Nightwish fans say.
"7 DAYS to the WOLVES" Wembley 2015 Floor and Marko sound so great together in this one, they end the song perfectly. The song has build up after build up. Tuomas challenging Floor in windmilling! There is a 10 second section in the middle of the song, one of the best Floor vocals ever, so much passion, feeling. NW has the song back on the setlist - even without Marko, who wrote part of the song. Tasteful guitar solo by Emppu, Kai on drums. Floors scream (off mic) is something to see. I would say this song is rock, not metal, very enjoyable.
Another overlooked Marko performance is the live version of "High Hopes" off end of an era. It's actually a Pink Floyd cover, and Marko's performance is so emotional and powerful. I would love to hear your thoughts on that track :-)
@@aritolonen286 yaaas! That's my fav Emppu solo. If you catch me at the wrong (right?) Time that song will bring me to tears. Always gives me chills though.
As many have suggested I would jump into Ever Dream. It is a pretty insane showcase of Floors upper register and control of it throughout the song. Song of Myself, Ghost River. Hell do any song really from the 2013 Wacken concert and you are good to go. Best part of the slide is Marco ends his about halfway through and is basically screaming while Floor just keeps going up and up and up lol
Its UTTERLY AMAZING; How YOU can literally feel a given artist's EMOTion within the vibratory language, we've come to understand as; MUSIC! It TRULY IS, THE LANGUAGE OF THE SOUL! Thank You for sharing your unique and inspiring take on vocal Queens and Kings...Floor and Maynard Keenan being the cream de la creme/Upper Echelon respectively!!
I think "Our Days in the Sun" would be an incredible reaction, you might bawl though, since the song is a love letter to the band members parents. It's slow, melodic, and exceptionally heart felt.
Hi Elizabeth, I'm glad you're doing another Reaction & Analysis to a Nightwish song, and I loved this performance. The band was amazing, the chemistry between Marko and Floor was really special, and Floor's stage presence/performance was outstanding. Thank you, Elizabeth!!! 💙
I adore the " Inner Smile" description and tutorial !!! I learn something new and have a BLAST every time I see you !!! Thank you for sharing your time and thoughts with us ❤️❤️❤️ !!! Your OUTER smile makes my day !!!
For an amazing composition, incredibly personal lyrics, world class musicianship, and a vocal performance that will bring a tear to your eye - Dead Boy’s Poem Live from Buenos Aires. Tuomas has said before this was his favorite Nightwish song for a long time & was a true a moment where I felt overwhelmed by my love for this group of musicians.
Like always, Elizabeth reactions to Nightwish are priceless, She is so wise, so expert and intelligent of her critics to Floor. I admire Floor voice and Elizabeth comments and reactions to her. Elizabeth combine fun, interesting, learning reactions, it s like seems for the first time any Nightwish song, even though I have hear them all. Thank you so much, Elizabeth. All my admiration and love to you as always,. Gaby.
I have a book of 100 best metal guitarists and while these kinds of list can be debated until the end of time I was happy to see Emppu made the top 100.
Yes, Marko will be missed. I also recommend checking out Tarot, Marko's other band. Especially their song I Walk Forever. The vocal harmonies are spellbinding
You HAVE to do "DISDAIN live at Grasspop " by Revamp ( floors 2nd band) you'll have a ball disecting that , floor pulls out all of her voices in that one .
One of the better overall songs for all of the cool combination of things you pointed out and love. I always love your joy and excitement at any genre of music where technical proficiency is displayed and none better than our beloved Nightwish. Another fantastic reaction
Jesus, never thought I would see it again: goddess reacting to goddess👸🏻👸🏻 And for some nice vocal acrobatics from and between Marko and Floor: Buenos Aires 2018, "Devil and the deep dark ocean"! Please wear the same outfit as goddess Floor when reacting to that one.🤟
Hi there, I grew up in same region as Floor. I was a musician from a young age and played in different bands and so I knew alot of musicians in the scene. I was 18 and played on a small festival, and there was Floor with her band. And we knew, she was something special. Later on she went to Rock Academie in Tilburg Netherlands and did classical lessons too, and in that time she was touring with her band. Later on that band quit and she went thrue a hard time untill she was invited to sing in this band. When I saw her seh was maybe 14 years old and sounded like she was much older. I wasn't wondered she became famous. She was too good for not being that great!! What she she really doing good at, telling the story with her voice. Maybe because of her life and the love of music! Great content, keep it going!
Storytime, Wacken 2013, great Floor vocals. Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean, Buenos Aires, Floor and Marco vocal gymnastics. Song of Myself, Wacken 2013, wide, wide variety of vocals, great song.(my no.1 choice)
"Song of Myself" is arguably her best Nightwish song. I would like to recommend her cover of M83's "Oblivion". She sings this in a tambour unlike any you have heard so far and the last word of the song drips with forlorn sadness as she sings "Goodbye..." like only Floor can.
I knew you'd be thrilled with the slide. I was stunned the first time listening to this piece of music. The slide is truly out of this world one of the most incredible vocals ever created. Such astounding perfection, and you covered this so very well. Cheers.
Floor Jansen is the best thing in the land of music, and I dare say that she and Marko were born to make the best duo in metal. thanks for tremendous reaction "The charismatic Voice" 🔥🖤
Had to go back and watch your reaction to this song, once again. I love seeing your expressions when you hear something this...vocally acrobatic. There's so much that you know, and can tell us, about the voice and using it in song...and when you come across sounds that you never expected to hear the human voice to use, in a song...that "kid on his first trip to the toy store" expression you get...just makes me smile from ear to ear. Thank you, so much, for sharing your reactions and your vocal knowledge, with the world.
Great piece from one of their best albums, Once (2004), which has brilliant songs both on record and live, varying from epicness of GLS to great hard rock speedballad Wish I Had an Angel, eeriness of Nemo and symphonic metal treat Planet Hell.
The drummer here was not Kai, it was Jukka (Yooka). He was known for being a showman on the drums and giving lots of power (not to say Kai doesn't!). He was there from the beginning or early days of the band.
Yaaaaaay! MORE NIGHTWISH! I love the spontaneous pout when the song ended! Shows how much you missed them! If this isn't a good reason to find more to react to, I don't know what!
Love your reactions and analysis Elizabeth! Because you asked for Nightwish songs, I need to make sure that High Hopes and Ever Dream (from the Wacken 2013 concert) are on the list. Marko's vocals in High Hopes will blow you away.

And of course the fact, that Floor don't need that choir, she can perform that part by herself 😛. And honestly, I think, that Nightwish is always best live, at least when Tarja or Floor are involved.
absolutely, would love to see Waken Song of Myself.... pretty please!
@@vava_pl Not what I meant, I meant that the live version is missing the poem, which I would love to see her react to.
@@davidellinsworth22 That's right, I totally agree, she is the best.
We NEEEEED a Tea Time Interview with Floor!!
"Dead Boy's Poem" from their Buenos Aires tour is absolutely beautiful. It's delicate and heartbreaking and you would seriously enjoy!
She absolutely has to react to this one! I thought she had but it's not there is it! Insanely good version that is.
Yes.
Yess
Would love to hear your thoughts on this wonderful song!
I was there than day and can absolutely attest to this.
"it's tango country"
The pout near end of the song, no it needs to be longer!!!! Priceless 😁😍
Thanks for bringing back Nightwish, can't wait..... ^^
Inner smile with her voice, that´s what I feel when I hear Floor sing, never could put it in words though.
To me Floor is the best singer around, never get tired of listening to her. And Nightwish is the best band, so perfect match :)
Thank you Elizabeth for your great and insightful reactions :)
I mean, c'mon, the drum kit had to smoke a cigarette after this song
That face at 23:35 from Elizabeth just tells how much she really nerds out on musical talent!!! Peace and love y'all 🤟
Ghost River is one from this show that doesn't get as much love but it's a great tune for Floor and Marko. Also While your lips are still red is a great Marko tune, can't remember if you've done that one yet. Nice to see you revisit this band!
+1 for ghost river, it's one of my favorite nightwish songs
I know I will get sht for that but with Floor the song looses all the creepy elements. I want to hear the children in the background now have Floor sing it and belt it. It is not creepy that way as the song was supposed to be
I love me some ghost River!!
Ghost River a favorite of mine for sure!
There's an awesome song featuring Marko Hietala that just came out you should check out! It's great to see him jamming in his 'retirement ' and this has all the feels 🔥🔥🔥:ruclips.net/video/dHI64gOj6Tg/видео.html
If you also want to see Marko Hietala with his old band Tarot in the 80's : ruclips.net/video/VimogVM3i9Y/видео.html 🤘
That slide she does is fantastic. She is absolutely the best. Very few can sing like that live.
WOW. 🤩🤩
This has been such a long time coming.
A Dream will be a Teatime interview between the best vocal coach / reactor on RUclips and arguably the best female singer of our generation 🥰🥰
Totally agree with your statement. The sad part, most people in the U.S. will never get to hear this beautiful artist because of the restrictions on the radio.
Oh, I wish!
@@zvolencan1 And me too !
On so many places this was asked/sugested and i am realy wondering why it did not happen a long time ago. Management? Miscommunication. Whatever i would love it so much. Keep suggesting it. I allready tried on Floors channel as others did.
@@edwarddoss1006 what radio restrictions do they have in the US ?
Ahhh the long awaited return of Nightwish..... excellent! Good reaction too, thank you Elizabeth.
I have to second this. "Song of Myself" would be great for a reaction video. ruclips.net/video/lQu5QjidHWg/видео.html
‘Seven Days to the Wolves.’ Super underrated Nightwish track, and the live performance at Wembley is fantastic!
With a surprise violin solo - nice choice. :)
I missed the premiere 😱😔. Damn. Love Nightwish with Floor ❤️❤️. Elizabeth is fangirling like nobody else, and for good reason and the Floorgasms. They really are a match made in heaven. Thank you so much!! Made my week!!!
I get goosebumps every time on your videos. Your are a beautiful person, the world needs more people like you. Thanks.
Please Elizabeth do Nightwish more often. You will LOVE listening to and analyzing "Alpenglow" live. "Élan" is also a great one.
You can never leave Nightwish..... They are always there I'm 54 and listen to them literally everyday... My Spotify playlist is 90% Nightwish.
I would love to see a "tea-time" visit with you and Floor. I think the two of you would have much to talk about. As for Nightwish reaction & analysis suggestions, I've always enjoyed "Song of Myself". Happy Holidays all
Oh yes, please!
@@IinesSwanheart I was thinking about that and how they could chat about the voice during pregnancy. I think that would be great to hear about
"Tea time"? ;) I was already following Elizabeth's suggestion, with an accompanying beverage[in the same glass, btw] - "Hennepin", from Brewery Ommegang (almost-local) . Somehow, this seems to be a good to pair with Nightwish. (Especially the aroma? ) +shrug+ - don't know why, but it works. ;)
My current favorite, but love them all.
Dead Boy's Poem is well... I've no accurate words to describe how beautiful it is, but it is beautiful and sad and Floor's voice is gorgeous in it.
Has anybody seen when floor was on Beste Zangers? She sang Pop, Country, Opera, and some metal. Nobody on the show really knew who she was and she just blew them all away. It was fun watching floor sing in many different music styles perfectly.
Floor singing Phantom with Henk in that show was what got my hopes up that they would bring it back to their live set rotation but alas, now that Marco is gone as well… :´(
Yeah I’d like to see Elizabeth react to Floor’s performance of Winner
I was a huge fan of After Forever in like... ¿2001? and when Tarja went away I always thought Floor was perfect for them, she had a huge vocal range and different textures. She could sing in the usual "opera" clean high note range but also a more dirty screaming voice, she even growls in ReVamp. Time proved me right and I'm happy "Floor saved metal" as some Nightwish fans say.
it was nice, like first show, first song is Vilja Lied, al jaws dropped to the floor
"7 DAYS to the WOLVES" Wembley 2015
Floor and Marko sound so great together in this one, they end the song perfectly.
Omg Ellie this will not disappoint, you should definitely listen to the next one seven days to the wolves. It's must have
Wembley Arena live
HAAAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWL....
I love it
I really love to watch your Nightwish reactions. Your joy of listenling to them is so entertaining. Your smiles and sometimes giggles are wonderful
WOHOO! Some Nightwish again, really looking forward to seeing this!
The way Floor does that snappy hear/head throw-back at about 4:43 is really engaging and emotion inducing...
Double dose of floors singing in one week? Yessss!
She called that guitar solo "nifty." ❤
I wonder what the elf would have to say about that one. lol
She's not wrong...
Another overlooked Marko performance is the live version of "High Hopes" off end of an era. It's actually a Pink Floyd cover, and Marko's performance is so emotional and powerful. I would love to hear your thoughts on that track :-)
Marko and Emppu really show their talent in that song :)
@@aritolonen286 yaaas! That's my fav Emppu solo. If you catch me at the wrong (right?) Time that song will bring me to tears. Always gives me chills though.
Hell yes, epic solo too
1000% outstanding in every way
Probably the best "male performance" from Nightwish hahaha
More Nightwish please!
Greetings from Bulgaria, girl ❤! I am so glad I found your channel and your lovely comments about my beloved Nightwish!
I keep coming back to the Nightwish reaction playlist! Floor did really well, making these songs her own from Nightwish's catalog
Everdream with Floor is one of the best live performances imo, should really listen to that!!
TY Elizabeth! I will also join you in this libation! Floor is a master of her instrument! The Sifu of vocal mastery!!
This is DEFENETLY one of the best reactions to a Nightwish song I have EVER watched. Knowledge mixed in with genuine fangirl moments. 👍❤😁
Love how much you enjoy their performance! So do I!!🤠 “Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean “
My most favourite is when people started Nightwish with Romanticide. It's such a good cold shower 😀🙃
Right, slow ballad...🤣
Isn't that the Ghost River? 😂
Cold shower goes from Ghost River))
Its UTTERLY AMAZING; How YOU can literally feel a given artist's EMOTion within the vibratory language, we've come to understand as; MUSIC! It TRULY IS, THE LANGUAGE OF THE SOUL! Thank You for sharing your unique and inspiring take on vocal Queens and Kings...Floor and Maynard Keenan being the cream de la creme/Upper Echelon respectively!!
Yesss! So looking forward to this! Can't wait, first Sabaton and now this, it's really like Christmas come early.
Gaby.
Emmpu is a heavily underrated guitar player
I have a book of 100 best metal guitarists and while these kinds of list can be debated until the end of time I was happy to see Emppu made the top 100.
YES! thank you
Yes, Marko will be missed.
I’m willing to watch Floor in any setting, any time. She’s astonishing.
"The Siren" by them is also stunningly wonderful.
I agree
One of the better overall songs for all of the cool combination of things you pointed out and love. I always love your joy and excitement at any genre of music where technical proficiency is displayed and none better than our beloved Nightwish. Another fantastic reaction
Jesus, never thought I would see it again: goddess reacting to goddess👸🏻👸🏻
And for some nice vocal acrobatics from and between Marko and Floor: Buenos Aires 2018, "Devil and the deep dark ocean"!
She's the reason we have the saying, "The Floor is lava"
Elizabeth you're just awesome, thank you!
Oh yeah, so excited for this one!
I really appreciate what you had to say about Marco Hietala.
He's truly excellent in so many ways.
If you haven't done so, I think you'll love Ever Dream from the same concert. Marco and Floor both sounds great. It's a fan favorite! 💖☺️
I love Elizabeth’s intense staring and almost maniacal smile! Very enjoyable watching her reactions….
My vote goes to "Ghost River" from this same show. It's a really cool and somewhat underrated song.
Also, you are too adorable!
It’s such a special song, nothing like “normal” metal songs imo
"Song of Myself" is arguably her best Nightwish song. I would like to recommend her cover of M83's "Oblivion". She sings this in a tambour unlike any you have heard so far and the last word of the song drips with forlorn sadness as she sings "Goodbye..." like only Floor can.
I adore that cover from Floor your thoughts are mine. Of course anything she does is amazeing imo of course.🥰
I can't figure out what my favorite song is but Song of Myself is often on top. Maybe I miss it but I don't see many comments on it
Agreed. Song Of My Self is my favorite Floor/Nightwish combo song.
No there are a lot of better songs. Like this one
I just love your excitement and passion for music of all genre
Always thrilled and excited to see more Nightwish!!! Floor & Marko are a perfect perfect pairing.
Wow! I missed your reactions to Nightwish. You really made my day with this one! ❤
The drummer here was not Kai, it was Jukka (Yooka). He was known for being a showman on the drums and giving lots of power (not to say Kai doesn't!). He was there from the beginning or early days of the band.
Was waiting for your reaction to that slide for just about a year now. Didn't disappoint. Thanks for that reaction!
Yaaaaaay! MORE NIGHTWISH! I love the spontaneous pout when the song ended! Shows how much you missed them! If this isn't a good reason to find more to react to, I don't know what!
I loved the little pouting it should have been longer, LOL. Love your reactions
Oooh! I have been hoping for this one!
Love your reactions and analysis Elizabeth! Because you asked for Nightwish songs, I need to make sure that High Hopes and Ever Dream (from the Wacken 2013 concert) are on the list. Marko's vocals in High Hopes will blow you away.
So glad. Song kicks ass. Once lp is amazing. Love her!!
the most powerful song I´ve ever heard, so great in all aspects. Great you did this, so much open minded feelings here you showed us.
