danke für dieses Video, sehr interessant zu hören wie es zu RUclips bei dir kam.
Tja, die Leute gibt es leider immer wieder die einen verbessern oder maßregeln wollen, ungefragt. Du kannst es als Info nehmen, wenn du mal was nicht richtig sagst und blende einfach den anderen Part aus, daß man rumnörgelt.
Wir sind alle nicht perfekt und auch deutsche Muttersprachler hauen massive Fehler rein. So manchen Fehler saugt man sich auch durch das Internet rein, wenn man ihn nur oft genug liest.
Mach weiter so, du machst das toll, sei es auf Deutsch oder Englisch.

Hallo Lauren, iche finde deine RUclips-Kanäle klasse. Der englisch-sprachige ist trotzdem verständich, da du in einer moderaten Geschwindigkeit sprichst. Vielen Dank dafür und mache weiter so.
I have enjoyed your German podcasts in part because you tend to speak slowly (in English as well as German). For me, the best way to improve in a new language is when you have a foreigner whose English is as bad as your language of the foreigner. The two people will switch back and forth and the conversation can be lively. I have even done this with Germans where some french gets used to clarify an idea.

YT got the 2nd most popular website worldwide(!) (according to 'Most Popular Websites 1995 - 2023') and for real there are a lot of great videos available.
Don't know the algorythm but YT pops up a lot of videos for 'Germany' to my screen, sourced from all other the world.

Hi Lauren, ich hoffe deinen Kindern geht es wieder gut. Hab selbst im Moment leider starke Schmerzen in der Schulter, gegen die keine Schmerzmittel helfen und als Kassenpatient einen Termin beim Orthopäden zu bekommen, dauert. Das war wieder eine sehr tolle Folge deines Podcasts.
Bleibt alle gesund und mach weiter so. 🙂
Geh besser zu einem Neurologen (Schmerzspezialisten). Gute Besserung!

Hallo Lauren, ich finde deine Kanäle großartig. Es ist sehr erfrischend, wie wertschätzend du als Amerikanerin über Deutschland und die Deutschen sprichst. Das ist sehr selten und echt wertvoll. Vielen Dank dafür! Du sprichst sehr gut verständlich und deutlich. Könntest du vielleicht trotzdem deutsche Untertitel für deine Videos erzeugen. Ich fände das sehr nützlich. Vielleicht geht es auch anderen so, da du dich ja vor allem an Deutsche wendest. Alles Gute und liebe Grüße aus Sachsen!

I really enjoy your German YT channel too - but what do you think about scripting your content and then putting it into some KI supported free translator like deepl and then recording the improved version?

Thank you for explaining your absense from YT a few months after you got started. I always wondered about the reasons and as I’ve mentioned before missed your funny little vlogs and the bloopers. I vividly remember the short you put up about the “little” surprise in front of your house😁💛.
As for some of the strong opinions you have and hold back: welcome to the club! We all have those and keep them under a lid or only discuss them with people who won’t judge us for them. Nothing that has any standing in a public domain, though.
I completely understand that your husband encouraged you to start a YT channel. If I were your husband, no, check that, maybe more like a surrogate dad, I’d have done so as well. You are a very personalble and likable person and we’ve yet to see if there is a topic on which you don’t have to say anything about😁🫶 (apart from very niche driven geekish topics such as Star Trek or Highlander).
I definitely usually have something to say 🤣

I understand so well how it is to go crazy with kids at home, I really only have 2 kids. If you want, I can help you with Russian, I am not a teacher but I have experience of learning a completely different language.
