It was in Epcot where Steve Augeri was performing at least the spectators don't have to pay for this specific event-, but it was just one of the highlights of the Epcot Center for the said specific dates. It was sad to see him this way because he used to be ok when he replaced SP for at least 3 years. His voice did not recover fully. I think he should rest his vocals furthermore or choose low-key songs, maybe not Journey?

Saw this guy in 2003. Was my first time seeing Journey live. And boy I was very underwhelmed. Thought maybe he was just vocally fatigued. The guy just has no power. It’s like jumping in a Ferrari and turn that engine Over and you get a mouse squeak 🐭
This lead singer can't be journey power voice.. new guy Arnel Pineda can rock the boat..this guy is boring no audience excitement.. good thing is free..!!!

He's former lead singer for a reason. Ain't got it.
Unlike Arnel, Augeri didn't have the benefit of detuned songs and other singers (ex. Deen, Jason or Travis) giving him a break.

I saw him in 99 after the arrival album and he rocked the place. Journey toured him to death
