The one where you have to use a jack to get it on to the lift so that you can then jack it up with a separate jack that is built into the lift. And jack points, who needs 'em right?
The airbag lift in the very beginning would be most useful for me. I work flat rate, and while a floor jack would work if you're just doing 1 tire, that airbag lift could have the car up in seconds. Definitely could be a time saver.
Always wanted a lift, too hard to do much without one but I would be leery under any most of these. My car is over 2 tons so some of these are out of the picture
For most workshops a 2 post clear floor hoist is the best. 4 posts are great for some jobs and lousy for many others. Those scissor lifts, at least the taller ones are good for brake jobs, fitting tyres etc and can be moved around. But MUST be used on level and smooth floor. Useless for most other jobs. If used with common sense are a very handy piece, though dangerous if not.
I have a small shop and I am working on historical 1/2 to. I am in need of a lift because I have trouble getting up and down to get under the truck. If I had any of the lifts it would be a great improvement to my shop. Thanks for sharing.
Can the SEICAR lift keep the car level, or does it have to tilt to one end or the other? And what is going to happen if it suddenly tips down in the front?
LOL at the last one. You have to use a separate jack to lift the car up so you can put the jack points in place, then once it's up you can't access anything under the car because the lift takes up so much space. Even an oil change would be a PITA with that one.
Some four post lifts have the option to lift the car or truck off the platform so you can do a tire rotation. I own a 4 post that can do this as well as a inground 2 post lift. I honestly love my inground 2 post it gives me full access to everything.
Dommage que pas mal d'entre eux masquent la quasi-integralité du dessous du véhicule, ce qui rend impossible les interventions sur le pot d'échappement ou autre.
The 1st and 2nd jack are the only useful jacks every thing else is basically pointless when considering the cost the tire lift for heavy vehicles versus a pit for the tractors is probably 10 times the cost
the air jack looks kinda not safe at all, and you need an air compressor to make it work. The small 2 ton jack I got for 40 $ can probably do better and it's really easy to move, so it"s ideal for small jobs like removing a tire. Also, I don't understand the scissor lifts, you can't really get under the car cause of the scissors, and it does not look stable.
I can just imagine that scissor lift thing being used on an old banger, suddenly its inside the cabin and the car is STILL ON THE GROUND lol, or that SEICAR thing (which is great) with old banger, and its going up and yer think " hmmm whats happenin? Its gone up but front and back wheels are still ON GROUND! (car like a banana ) lol
The air bag ones don't go high enough. The one he pulled in , finklebinder ? is probably way to much, & you coulod buy a reg. hoist for 1/2 the amount .
Yeah, with these things you only have full access under the engine compartment and the rear axle - what's there to do? All the real work is done between the axles, right? Like the exhaust pipe and... and... um...
@@rujolift5558 exhaust pipe, drive shaft, transmission, fuel and brake lines, e brake line, electrical wiring, ect ect. so yeah. having access to the whole underside of the car is pretty usefull. if all you need it for is brakes and tire rotations and other stuff you do on the side of the car then sure these are fine.
The big one jacking the tractor up might be good for something, but there's little to do under a tractor and then there's usually high enough. The 3 bag lift looks like it would be good for a flat, but completely redesigned. It was too tall for the even the car that was being jacked up and worst if you have a flat. Then it needs it's own air source, could be cordless with its own pump. Don't see any purpose in the one the car tilts on and then their commercial was lacking. Why did the guy jack it up to open the door and polish the side; then he had such a big wrench that there was nothing on that car that it fit.
The van unit looks good, 3500 kilos capacity. What does something like that cost? Where is it made? I’d have a simple rule there, wouldn’t get under anything made in China, AT ALL.
Was any of them Practical? I didn't watch the complete Video, if your going to have a lift you want to be able to do everything, the lifts I see here you can't pull a rear wheel drive Trans, You can't pull the tires off, these are not practical. Just Ideas people have, not useful in a REAL Mechanic shop. Just for Posers who say look at my lift.
Well, you lift the car! But there is no space to work underneath! It might be of some use in tire work. But cleaning the bottom of the car or exhaust or mechanical work! it's useless
None of these are really any good if you have to work on the underside components like oil changes, tranny work etc. Anything that crosses underneath is an obstacle to accessing drive line.
Do you know pounds and feet don't mean much to 96% of the world's population. Except pounds you can spend in the UK and most people have feet at the end of their legs. We all use metric, have done so for decades, care to join the 21st century ?
and tell me which of these do you think is more useful?

You forgot to tell us where we can get any of these or how much it will cost. And why can't we see these at Walmart or AutoZone?
For me the FHB3500 is the most useful.
Seicar Lift would be the most useful for me. I can work on my cars at home and store it in the garage taking up hardly any space.
I have the dendpak works well for the home garage.

2:43 I just set up and tested a scissor lift very similar to this one in my garage.

how much money are you willing to spend for a lift?
@@_Wai_Wai_ I bought a lift last summer. It works great

Good job
I always love seeing big heavy things being lifted. The inner caveman in me is like umm big rock heavy must go up up high.
I think the lift with the tilting device is great! 👌
Yes, I have one, works geat, but I have stands underneath if I must go under

Where do you buy these car lifts
I don’t wanna die!
Hi...
Where is a shop for???
Where is a list for price???
No thanks to none of these. I think I'll go inside my garage and give my good 'ole Atlas four post lift a hug after watching these lifts. lol
But the 4 post isn't all that useful when you need the tires off of the ground too....That said, I still like my 4 post lift.

Worthless comment, comparing apples to oranges.
Did you just flex a 4 post lift. Lift your car and change a tire on that 😂😂😂.
Very nice if you can afford the lift, the six-inch deep concrete floor, and the rented forklift to get the lift off the delivery truck.
cost ?
Stuff some of those lifts I would not go underneath some of them but I would encourage my mother in law to go underneath!!
Take my in law too please
Hahaha!
oh~cool
what is the price 3500lift
Great
Die Finkbeiner Hebebühne ist aber schon älter und bei uns auf dem Hof seit über 20 Jahren im Einsatz...
i dont know if i would still get under it with complete faith lol good stuff tho
cool project, how many Ah is youre battrery on?
I need a lift for my house garage to do engine and transmission swap what do you recommend

Where can I buy the Finkbeiner?

Did anyone notice the damage he did to the dodge when he lifted it with the airbag? lol
yes, it obviously wasn't on the jacking point .. someone wouldn't be happy about that.
How about a timestamp?

Dodge usually comes damage straight from the assembly line.
im still watching but seriously the van one. Screw working under that.
Amazing design love it.... how much is it thanks
I'd make sure my life insurance was paid up.....and my lawyer had all the documents from the lift company so he'd know who do sue.

Those airbag lifts should be permanently installed on every car from the day the car is bullt
Some old cars had 4 jacks built in. Ford Pilot IIRC
Some high class cars in the thirties had in built hydraulic
Jacks for wheel changing.
So they can be rebuilt every five years when they leak?
Like is not enough crap installed already...
