The scissor lift at the end is pretty useless and dangerous. One you can't get to the gearbox, tailshaft etc. Two you will fall in the pit. A scissor lift with 2 platforms is better. It will still allow for a gap between the 2 platforms to remove gearboxes etc. Also they place 2 steel beams across the platform. Are they fixed? It wouldn't take much of a nudge and they will slide of the platform.
