@@WorkshopFromScratch Good day from Bermuda!!....would you have shop plans available for this scissor lift because I would love to make one myself......OR if you make and sell them HINT..HINT!
You know, I am very much enjoying this video, as I can see that the individual doing the welding . . . can actually lay down some really nice welds ! !
Thank you :) But there are no nice welds in this project, I had a problem with fusion of the weld because the mass cable burned out and I noticed it quite late 😂
Hi WFS, Your videos bring me inspiration. Who knew someone can fabricate such complex projects in the home garage/ shed ? Thank you for sharing your talent & ideas with us !!!
The video is enjoyable to watch - thankyou. I would like to suggest a much different application of the device demonstrated, for anyone interested: An electric hydraulic scissor lift bench, (about 18" x 6'), operated by remote control, and finished as interior furniture, could be useful in an elderly or disabled household. The bench would have to lower to about 3 or 4" from the floor and then rise, (using the portable remote), to about 20". The bench could be used by an individual or with a caregiver, to help a person recover to a sitting/standing position from a fall. Thanks.
MM77 Approved 👍🏼👍🏼…. I bought one that is hydraulic. I never knew I needed one, until I got one, now I don’t know how I got by without one!! It’s indispensable in my garage now. Very nice build!!! 👍🏼👍🏼
Truly wish that I had a workshop like yours so I could attempt to make items like these! I so need one of these right now I am now going to see if I can find a used one thats not the same price as my mortgage!
Sir thankyou for a great build. I am collecting the parts to build a 40 inch surface drum sander. I am going to build closets for three bedrooms and I need the big sander. When you see the feed tables on DIY drum sanders I wanted better and your build is exactly that. Thanks again. God bless.
Probably when you went to school you used sit in the back of the classroom and always drawing you got every drawing on the top of your head !!!!!! Amazing Congratulations
Amazing amount of labor went into this lift. I was tired before I started watching... now, I'm, really, beat. But, I watched the whole thing. Well done!
It’s nice to see someone that can actually weld. There is another channel called Made in Poland which is very similar in that they make a lot of their own workshop equipment too and those guys can really weld as well. Their preferred colour is blue but I like Workshop from Scratch’s orange. They’re both great and inspiring channels. Cheers Stuart 🇦🇺
Awesome work! Saves you a lot from lifting heavy things 👍🏻 I would put some rubber mat on the table so it wont be slippery and doesnt get scrathed and start to rust.
Generally, the table was supposed to be hydraulic and I even reworked the hydraulic lift for this table, but it turned out that it took a long time to pump to raise the table, so I decided to equip it with a winch, the tube on the scissors to which the actuator was to be attached was in the way, so I mounted it on the upper part
Pretty cool. I've liked all your videos. My only suggestion on this one would have been to put the winch on the other side and just use another pully. Looks like it is a bit in the way on that side.
⭕️my thoughts exactly, as to the use... judging by the materials used i guess 600 to 700 pounds all day long. as far as the height goes, at least 4 inches shorter to fit under most bikes ... some low rider Harleys maby 5 inches shorter... but the battery for the pulley system would need to be beefed up a bit more, if it were an everyday use to lift a 1200GS BMW ... but overall, I'm impressed 😎
Think u could make a snow plow type thing that can hook on to a riding mower..like a John deere D140?..just needing an idea of how to get it done..if it's even possible
Outstanding effort. Your craftsmanship is to be applauded, especially in today's world of simplistic engineering and designed obsolescence. I'm inspired to build one myself. My only thought is to suggest adding some kind of simple ratchet catch to provide mechanical holding if the cable/wench ever fails. Since this video was done some time ago you may have already done so? I've just subscribed and look forward to seeing some of your other efforts. Thank you for your post. Please don't be discouraged by the few hater comments. My father used to say, "Those that have all the answers have not heard all the questions."
Oooh that painted finished product is phenomenal! Great work!
This is really a no nonsense, straight to the point video. Great job sir!
Absolutely amazing work! You make everything look so easy even though they are not. Thanks for sharing your talent. Keep posting videos
Thank you 😁

@@WorkshopFromScratch muy bien que Dios te bendiga
@@WorkshopFromScratch Great job and good workmanship
You need to start doing plans or show us how you plan your builds. Really enjoyed that mate, thank you. Dai
Super aż miło popatrzeć na taką pracę. Fajne zaplecze maszynowe. Ja jestem w trakcie budowy malej tokarki ale idzie mi opornie...
I wish he would have put bigger wheels on it. To make it easier to go across any surface. But what an amazing job. Love the kills.

Having a fully equipped machine workshop is most important. Good weld skill and machining.👍
Excellent welding skills. Not to mention all the cool stuff you have built. Thank you. 🇨🇦
I hit the like button before I even watched the whole video; I knew this was going to turn out great. Well done.
Thank you 😁
Great video and very nice, although it does bring whole new meaning to a 1000 lb lift cart!

Very nice build and you have given me a solution to my leaky hydraulic jack on my HF motorcycle lift! Thanks!
Thank you 😁
Agora o RUclips acertou. Top

I really enjoy the builds you do and the way you edit the videos. Keep up the amazing work. Thank you.
Thank you 😁
Very nice, excellent job. Darlington, South Carolina USA
Great fab skill! Suggestion from an engineer, move the motor to the base no moving electric cables 👍

Good job my friend and excellent workmanship
Wow!... Looks like a Very Handy addition to and Workshop. Thanks for Sharing
Save the back! Nice work.
Excellent fabricating skills had one in a fab shop about 25 years ago but it was hydraulic like yours better nice job
you have a nice machine. you may level it up by adding a complex pulley system for more pulling power or change the machine by a jack or a hydraulic
Nice build for a super useful lift.

The metals and you can be called best friends together do miracles thank you for sharing and posting it you did an amazing job!!!!!!!!!!!!
Even though you would have to do a lot more fabrication to make this a working motorcycle table, I'm curious to the weight it holds now? Great job 👍😃

I suggest you put a rubber plate on the worktop to protect it
Good worki always thought a winch would be the simplist way tp do this

wow very beautifully homemade a good scissor lift down-up
I like watching you build stuff, but it would be nice if you gave a description of the shaft that you’re using and the bearing size

Think u could make a snow plow type thing that can hook on to a riding mower..like a John deere D140?..just needing an idea of how to get it done..if it's even possible

Cool toys and fabricating gear, but if that cable loses tension or snaps shit is gonna get real quick.
Worm drive would be a cheap safe alternative. 👍
😂😂😂 brilliant idea I love that 100%
Excellent just what I've been looking for I'm doing the same project
It's a wonderful table cart ♪
