Nice job. The arbour shaft slides in and out through the bore of the pilllow block bearings. When the load is applied the shaft will eventually wear. Fitting a cross slide under the bearing assembly would allow the arbour shaft to be fixed to the bearing blocks.

Nicely executed, something to be proud of in any shop. I had a need for the same issue, however, I used small lathe and a milling cutter. I pulled off the cross feed and replaced it with a clamp to hold the tubing and the milling cutter was placed in the three jaw chuck. Easy Peasy!

Pretty good build, but making the back jaw for the pipe movable/adjustable in unison with the front jaw would give you a greater range of usable sizes. May not matter for your purposes, but the center of the tube shifts away from your central axis the further you move from the optimum pipe OD. My mind goes to a scissoring mechanism.
Maybe im not seeing the whole picture but I can't see how this would matter? The spindle and pipe are still in the same horizontal centre line and the spindle slides in those bearings. Wouldn't it still cut on centre of the pipe?

Keeping the intersection at the same x and y point would half the material approach toward the cutter rather than shifting the full diameter. Chances are, he won't be cutting 12" tubing.

The "fixed" side of the v clamp should be solid or have a angle iron welded between them, that way you can clamp shorter parts to be notched.
