    Manufactured lifting system is nice, but it lacks one or two. The bearing on the lifting section and the rollers over which the rope passes should be lubricated with grease. The concrete weights placed on the back should be fixed with screws instead. Thus, the system can work healthier and safer.

    • @KwandoTechnic
      @KwandoTechnic  3 года назад +1

      Many thanks for your advise!

    • @2L40K
      @2L40K 3 года назад +13

      The worst is not that the rollers are missing lubrication, but that they have too small diameter for that thick rope.
      Look at 17:47 and see how it does not want to bend naturally.
      Steel ropes have a minimal bending radius depending on their cross section.
      Bending a thick steel rope over a small radius will damage it quickly.
      Than it will fail catastrophically...
      That's why commercial lifts of this type use chains instead of steel rope.

    Also, the handrail height for the manlift is too low. It should be at least 1.1m. 1.2m is best. I like how the manlift basket is hooked and secured onto the fence. That's a really great idea.
