@@Error50505 after the links came out, there were bad formats, but were some very good ones even tho we had some anoying floodgated and lingering effects, last year konami seems to started trying improving the game but stil they put their money 1st, at least i hope they found ways to make money while improving the game
Spyral was also worse

So in 2 years the people who like Fiendsmith Snake-Eye will be claiming it was an amazing format and that every deck should have been like Fiendsmith Snake-Eye.

@@Test-mq8ihse was onky super expensive if you didn’t buy wanted when it first came out. Right now it’s pretty cheap.
I've spoken to several players who have said that they have zero interest in playing until we get a ban list. This pay to win crap is horrible.

Sounds to me like there a new generation of card designers in yugioh. Either that or the ceo is babyraging to push the envelope.
It could also a problem upstairs where the suits want this out before WCQ on Friday. Also the stupidity that was having the second hyped archetype have half its cards in secret like it'd break Sealed.

Poplar was Phantom knightmare, but that just shows you what 1 crazy card with 3 effects can do 😂😂.
Poplar and Promethean Princess. Two cards that read like custom cards.
SE wasn't a great deck to begin with. It wasn't all there and there were some gaps, but then poppy and princess came and everything changed.
Weak yugioh is fun yugioh.
And now we have MORE fuel to the fire that is the new and upcoming Azamina archetype. If the TCG continues to just ignore Snake-Eye, this is just another addition to the Tier 0 pile. And even if Snake-Eye is hit, this archetype can also easily fill in the missing holes.
The only way this format can get worse is if someone figured out a consistent ftk with either snake eyes or yubel. Like pendulum in 2018
That would actually make the format better by forcing an emergency banlist.
I've gotten close with fiendsmith melodious. Just need to find ~1500 more damage to get there.

i remember the look on a snake-eyes fiendsmith player when I ended on a 6 material unoutable Arrival @ignister and a 5400 access code after extending threw their whole board. just pure devastation on their face. Non-official match unfortunately, but still fun.
when did kash dethrone tear ? they made them to stop tear but still couldnt do it nor reach tier 0
When ariseheart was legal and tear was heavily nerfed. It's okay if you didn't play during that time period.
Pre-list PHHY Ishtear was still far and away better than PHHY Kash. Post-list sure, they took a backseat, but the banlist was a huge factor in why that happened.
@CudaWudaShuda to be fair, the only event that occurred with phhy tear and kash pre list. Both kash and tear had near equal representation in top cut.

Moon will likely be an early ban even though it literally might as well be a vanilla. Fabled Lurrie will also probably be hit before any of the problem engine pieces. The expensive parts will likely get the Needlefiber treatment.
they made moon a common for a reason. 100% gonna be gone. generic link ones arent healthy for the game at all
If they ban the link 1 it will kill the whole deck. Moon could be more easily banned due to it being low rarity and generic. The link 1 is making them money
@@lastmexicano that’s why I said at some point, obviously they won’t ban it next list but if it’s still a problem down the road if they wanted to kill the deck that’s probably what they’d do
Maybe the strategy is a new era of yugioh where everything becomes OP and the keep retraining and supporting decks until literally everything can be played. Long con. And way more money.
3 tier zero formats in a row. I’m happy with this.
I've found it isn't hand traps that annoy me so much as everyone playing the exact same ones, including some obnoxious turn ending junk like Shifter/Droll/Draw on Summon effects, and even Ash or imperm sometimes do enough just because of all the variance involved with people running so many of them at a time just to "survive going second".
The fact that generic hand traps are crossout bait should be enough to discourage the TCG from running "expected" ones as often, but the problem is they need to use the card to cover against the ones they're most vulnerable to, which means they have to run a bunch of "filler" hand traps anyway. Might as well put Gamma, Called By and Magical Mid-Breaker Field to 3 at this point and unban Red Reboot, it's basically the same level of ridiculous either way.
I predict holding a large tournament right after INFO release will blow up in Konamis face as in everyone taking fiendsmith with them and tons of ppl trying to take advantage of the Fiendsmith cards being new and cheating the whole time.
One good thing about all this powercreep: Blue-Eyes support getting released now might make the deck less of a meme. Maybe.
I totally hate the current format and tbh i would loved to have a new ban list one month ago... Other than snake-eyes/yubel i kinda expect runic stun decks to appear , low cost and synchro zone plus skill drain is a problem.
Those floodgates and synchro zone need to go. This game would be better off without all the floodgates stopping ppl from playing

Broadbull cannot be unbanned and it has nothing to do with the fact that it searches.
The freely removed from the board part changes the whole factor of the card. The same with Drident.
A lot of the hand traps needs to banned or limited, same for board breakers as they have both ruined Yu-Gi-Oh

Hand traps wouldn’t be as degenerate as they were if Konami just gave decks more means of playing around. Centurion sort of can to a degree to the point I kind of feel it was nerfed last minute before release.

Tear was worse, but the game was a little bit more accessible. I'm simply tired of 1 card combos that can afford to shove 15 handtraps into their deck and be basically immune to response. The game is becoming way too unhealthy

These are the type of formats that makes me glad I have other card games to play. I like playing Tenpai at locals when the try hard isn't there. Other than that this format and honestly this game feels dead.
This is why we need a draft format.
Right now yugioh isn't gonna be fun it's gonna be hoping n praying the opponent bricks just so you have a chance. The price tag is crazy the game play is crazy the weak prizes are crazy. But hey we love yugioh we gonna be playing it. This season will be interesting
Would resolving Dreaming Nemleria be good enough as a board breaker (the idea is Pendulum Treasaure + Eater of Millions)

Its crazy that once SE gets hit, yubel will be best deck by far and ppl wanna play too many handtraps these days just to stop everyone cuz they play a deck with lots of starters... need a master rule to bring the handtraps down to like 9 and Konami needs to stop making 1 card combo decks and start slowing down the game with 2 card combo decks while stop making genric as hell cards that get thrown into everyones deck

People HAVE been since the moment these cards are announced. Tournament players practice OCG cards with TCG banlist inmediately and every combo's solved by release

there needs to be a format that adds a rule where a player can only negate effects once per turn. That would stop 15 hand traps in every deck, the game wouldn't be about "go first and set up 10+ negates" and decks that aren't top 3 will have some viability.
Runick Stun is the key against these decks.
