Keep Mr. Skinner. Oilers fans don't understand goaltending as they are always quick to lay blames on their goalies. At the NHL level when a goalie sees the puck he will stop it 99.5% of the time. That is how good the goalies are, and the players know this, so they have to do things like screening the goalie, deflecting the puck, generating rebounds off the boards or off the goalie's pads or stick, setting up lightening fast back door one-timer shots that are simply humanly impossible to stop, regarless of who the goaltender is, far side bar-down shorts or greasy goal mouth scrambles with all players in crease poking at the puck with the puck finally crossing the goal line and stuff like that. Rebound control depends on the nature of the shots. A shot coming between 80-100 Km/hour and bouncing off a goalie's stick or pads is essentially not going to be within the goalies reach. It will be flying off at a tremendous speed, thus affording a loose puck. So when a goal is scored, a good hockey fan would know whether it is the goalies fault or not. It is every players duty to support the goalies efforts by checking the opponent's play. It is not just the defense. The game has only 2 defenders on each team, and the games are pretty fast.....
Connor Ingram is also an option, he lost his mom and the play dropped off. But when he's on, he's really good for a back up. Dobes on Montreal is playing like I've only seen Vasilevsky. Unreal movement and saves but unproven. Gibson is always hurt it seems.
I hope they don't trade away Skinner, he's doing good, you can't blame everything on him either. I only got back into actually watching hockey last year in January, I like Skinner they need a new better goalie coach
If we bring in a 1B what happens with Rodrigues? His AHL level numbers are great, are we going to loose another player with promise because he's not going to be given an opportunity? I can see us bringing him in for some games NEXT year (Picard's last contract year) to see how he does in the bigs. Take care all.
Oh, and when getting Soros, trade the other Skinner somehow for O'Reilly. He is a great 2 way player who works hard and is always great in the takeaway department.

Don’t trade skinner. It’s defence issue not goalie issue .
Like the almost daily Bouchard giveaways? Amen.
It was a goalie issue before things got better. Now we can pin this on defence again
Seth Jones from Chicago for Emberson, and a forward

Keep skinner. I'm a skinner guy since he played in Lethbridge

Trade Skinner for Soros somehow. Nashville is trash and Soros would definitely help us for years to come.
And the jets wonder why they get eliminated from the playoffs
