I would want Oilers to hold onto picks/prospects unless it's for an actual difference making players. Leon and Connor locked in for next decade. Goal should be to make 5 finals the next decade like Tampa did, not just 1 and done.
Should have kept Broberg. Oilers played Boston the other night. Bruins swimming in quicksand in the standings. Oilers looking for defense. How about Brandon Carlo? Right shot defenseman. 6-5 220. 28 years old. Oilers could use some size on defense too. Not sure about Carlo's contract in terms of cap hit or term. If they keeping struggling the Bruins might be looking for a little bit of a reset of their roster. Not much scoring after Pasta.
Yes. With 9.25M cap room wasted on Nurse. He is a at best 4/5 D worth 2-3M, meaning he is overpaid by 6-7 M. Imagine what you can do with this cap room? 2 solid physical bottom 6 wingers and a strong backup goalie. That is why K. Holland is a sucker GM for the Oilers.
What would the return be for the Oilers to complete a trade with the Blue Jackets for Olivier and Fabbro? Would EDM and/or CBJ fans be in favour? Just spit-balling.
@@Arbormurr i wouldnt trade him, but you have to give something to get something. i think the oilers will do something for sure, not sure clb is the team to trade with. good RD are hard to find.

@@ramalama9030 Yes it is my take. You can't force guys to play in Edmonton who don't want to be here. Dany Heatley for example rejected a trade to come here. Time to win is now
How many times do they keep going out there and look for a d man and than trade them out after couple of months
How bout a real goalie instead of the ahler and back up one of skin
Canada needs to dominate this league! that should be the only priority!
Last Canadian team to win the cup? Montreal what was their strength? Not Roy, not the 10 OT wins. It was simple. JJ Daigneault. We need a JJ to Edm

Jake Evans would look great on the 4th line in Edmonton for the playoffs.
Kane comes back from injury and RNH plays 3C and Henrique 4C.
