Hiei is the ORIGINAL edge character with mystic eyes, sword, super speed and black flames.......you know who the copycat is :v
Koto is the absolute best tournament announcer in shonen that I have ever seen. I fucking love her.
"How will you top this?" Yu Yu Hakusho is FULL of amazingly memorable side characters, some of whom are recurring, some of whom are only here briefly, but nearly ALL of them have fans. Because introductions like this are the rule, not the exception. You WILL remember every team Team Urameshi faces for one reason or another, even if you forget a face or two.

In manga Chu decapitated those two other team members. There are so many scenes were censored in YuYu Hakusho anime just like Hunter x Hunter anime.
And the award for best over the top edgy name for an attack, goes to Hiei!
This episode made Hiei a fan favorite. Kurama nice too.

Love the Koto appreciation! Koto's commentary is one of the best parts of the Dark Tournament. Fun fact, her sadism was actually amped up in the English Dub which just adds to the Dub's quality!

Hiei carried everyone this arc. He is so ridiculously OP. Can't wait for your reaction to his other fights.
