Thanks for all the tips! I have two FLF. One has a gnat infestation 😰😥 and i sat outside for the last two days to completelu dry out and hopefully get rid of gnats. Ive sprayed the soild with neem oil. My question... my older taller FLF is in a bottom water pot for about 1 yr. I alternate btwn bottom and top watering but when i noticed the other flf gnat problem... i switched to only bottom watering. Im thinking I will repot the infested flf into a bottom watering pot as well. What are your thoughts and tips on bottom watering? The older flf is 4 feet tall and the infested one is just shy of 3 feet tall.

Wow it sounds like your fiddle leaf fig plants are thriving! You can try bottom watering and that does help to keep the insect infestations at bay. I do recommend flushing out the soil monthly to get the soil rid of any residue / mineral buildup from the bottom watering process.

Claire I just repoted my fiddle leaf from a 10 in to a 12 inch pot 2 months ago. I used the soil you sell. I’ve noticed he maybe suffering from root rot. Just bought the root rot supplement you sell too. I also discovered there are little holes in the leaves which after treating it with Neem oil I just bought ANOTHER product you sell for this issue too. So my question is this. Because I just replanted this what should I do right now??? Ty PLEASE HELP

I would leave the plant to recover from the repotting process. Make sure you thoroughly water after repotting and allow all the water to drain properly out the bottom drainage holes. It needs to be sitting directly in front of and up against your brightest window. Even it if is pulled back 1 foot or more, it is not enough light for it to thrive. It should bounce back!

I gave my fiddle fig miracle grow, the baby leaves immediately drooped. What did I do? Hopefully I don't kill it.

If the fertilizer was a 3-1-2 NPK ratio your plant will be fine. If the fertilizer was much stronger, you will want to flush the soil out with water and keep an eye on your plant for any signs of fertilizer burn.

Is it safe to keep my FLF in a pot with no drainage hole?

Great question! These plants need drainage to survive. If there is no way for the water to drain out, the bottommost soil will stay too wet and the root system will unfortunately become rotted and the plant cannot survive. They do best in pots with multiple holes on the bottom to allow the water to drain well.

Hi Linda, sounds like there may be insects on the plant? Check closely for signs of any bugs and treat with a diluted neem oil spray.

Is there any way for me to send you a picture of the leaves that dropped for you to determine the problem. Based on few of your videos I think I have root rot, but I just purchased this plant and repotted into a bigger container with a whole and 3 inch rocks on the bottom. My plant already had several brown spots and now it's getting worse.
