Hi Joe. I just discovered your channel. What a happy surprise it is. It seems so many years ago I was watching you on Horsepower TV. I'm 62 now and certainly appreciate all that you have done for "us" viewers. Keep up the great work and God Bless You, Your Family, and the United States of America. John Kershaw
OMG You’re right I knew his voice sounded so familiar! I swear I had to watch anything to do with Car & Motorcycles shows since my “step”dad had the clicker
Grew up in Davidson county and visited Montgomery bell in the 1950's and very early 1960's. We managed to make it to Montgomery Bell State Park two or three times a summer. There was sort of a rock wall at the waters edge. You had sand on the lake bottom, but no beach into the water. Only thing I recognized from your video was the bldg up the hill from the water. Remember the baskets for rent to put your clothes in. The park was a favorite of ours.
Are there any name associated with the picture of the CCC men? My late father worked with the CCC corps. I believe he worked in that area. I believe he is in the back row on the left. Just wondering.
