I decided to remove the 3M vinyl wrap from my Yamaha R6. Not because I didn't like it. I did. I absolutely loved the Satin Frozen Vanilla color that I chose. It was super unique. Hey it's frustrating as a fan, but I understand why he does it. Can't fault the guy for getting views. He definitely milked views when he was revealing his relocation through multiple vids. But really for me, it's taught me how to get views, break up my content & try to keep vids short😁
what does it matter? He is making money of this. He is trying to monatize on it as much as he can. Video Editing and doing all this isn't easy. If you don't like it, just watch the ones you want.

I should have mentioned it when you talked about doing this, but the best method to remove vinyl wrap is to pull off the sticker at the lowest angle possible. You basically want to keep the sticker flat and pull away as you lift a little. When you grab it and peel it like a banana you're at about 160-175 degrees angle, you'd rather be at about 5-20 degrees from the surface of that makes sense. It keeps the glue on the vinyl and keeps the vinyl together in one piece better. Not so much at 50 degrees outside though 🤣 You still did great and the paint looks awesome, can't wait to see the new new. 👍🏼🐢☠️

Instead of buying the expensive foam padding for under your tank cover sponge tape works pretty well

Maaan that carbon tank cover looked sweet on the white though. I thought the blue was too nice to change initially, but then thought the white was too good to reverse. Just goes to show you gotta trust a man's judgement on his own bike, because the owner is the one who looses sleep weighing every option in their head.

If you go full carbon, you should get it painted like the R1M. That would look sick. Also, get the swingarm painted like the R1M also.
I had the same problem with my carbon tank cover. I ordered mine from motocomposite.com. I bought spray glue , sponge foam , and that thin hard foam from MICHAEL'S it's an arts and craft store.
Now that’s some full carbon fiber in the works... way to go...

Hey love the R6 series man it actually inspired me to buy a 2018, which gets to my question I’ve put 700 miles on it since the 15 off March is the ticking wen riding and idol just the so called Yamaha tick and just engine noise? Do you experience the same sound? I still have stock exhaust so am I just over thinking the engine noise? Thanks

I know my opinion will be seen as biased lol. But yeah it's solid. Fills a room really well. I have a UE Boom 2 that I've had for a couple years and the Kove audio is slightly better just because of the bass. The UE doesn't really have any bass. The main advantage on that one is it's waterproof. I can dunk it in the water and its got no problem. The kove is just light splash resistant. Just depends how you expect to use it.

You don’t need those foam pieces for the tank in fact you can cut the old ones off and use a hot glue gun to hold them on

I'd spend more time trying to find correct thickness density pieces than would be worth it.
Idk if you will respond but would you say a r1 or r6 would be a better 2nd bike. Where I can ride is all long distances like across bridges and stuff like that. Not worried about money just the better bike.
You probably shouldnt be riding either if you want to know which one is better. They are two different breeds of bike one corners hard the other is a straight line warrior
