- Probably the single best pellet ive tested on the channel so far. The build tolerances are absolutely un matched at this price point.
Not only could they make a great pellet for the typical Olympic type pistol and match rifle disciplines they will also be fantastic for short range pest control. they hold incredible knock down power.
There's nothing from the likes of JSB QYS or H&N that come close in build quality for this sort of price.
Tested for accuracy through the
AirArms xti50 Alu
Airmaks katran
and the new precihole pp55 match pro air pistol
Here was the first test of the rtx pellets from the Brazilian brand rifle
• Could these Brazilian ...
i have also done further videos on them and also heres the link to the H&N econ11s
these are probably the single best pellet ever made for learning the sport and are super cheap!
• The cheapest air rifle...
One of our club pistol shooters suggested not to use a Fleece pocket for the none shooting hand as in Summer as you may not have your fleece on you will need to hold your belt or use trouser pocket . If used to fleece pocket you will start "again" when having to move to trouser pocket .. dunno if its right advice, seems logical however. You are still outshooting me so take anything I say with a pinch of salt .. great video again Best G
That makes good sense regards rear trouser pocket 🤯 I best buy a belt then 😆
Funnily enough this morning I made a concerted effort to maintain the exact stance through a 50 shot card. I drew around my feet in chalk on the floor and literally didn't move a centimetre. It was definitely better for consistency with 35ex50 within the 8 ring.
One thing I've realised though... Ive not used the pistol for any 2 consecutive sessions without making tweeks to the setup
That really isn't great for consistency my end 😬
I've just started making a new lefty grip for it.once that's done I'll not touch or adjust anything for a few weeks.. I need to find another pistol to use right handed now..
@@tillysgunstocks thats cracking shooting nice one .. Enjoyed this video and timing is perfect as I am pellet testing as well for the AP20.. Will grab a tin of these for a look see
Yes I always wear the same pants and anchor on the same point.
Enjoying your videos etc, but I also enjoy seeing and listening to the birds on your videos as I’m an avid birder. I also love to fish both saltwater and freshwater. I hosted a friend from the UK a few years ago. He stayed 2 weeks with us. He made a “joint of lamb” in the “microwave” and potatoes in a pan of grease in the oven. I like to smoke meat, but never in my life have I seen anyone cook meat in the microwave. It was actually pretty good. He lives in Nottingham. I took him to a local gun range here in America and let him shoot. an assortment of my firearms. He was amazed and enjoyed it very much. For me to say there are two different lifestyles of living from the UK vs America would be an understatement. He is in his late 60s now and has never driven a vehicle. I let him drive my boat on the lake which was a treat for him. Enough rambling, keep up the cool videos.
On the pistol you need to set the sites so you aim for the bottom of the black but the point of impact is the centre.
Absolutely 😉 that's how it's currently set up😀
An excellent review as always, even more interesting now as you’re using a pistol too and there’s always humour alongside the serious stuff 👍
Buzzards: we have them too down here in Cornwall. They’re so graceful and love to hear them calling each other. They sometimes come up over the trees quite low over the garden, a thrilling sight
Hi nick, we get loads of birds of prey here ,it's amazing to see them all if a little distracting at times 😆
The pistol definitely adds another element to the vids and I'm absolutely hooked as I'm just so bad at it 😆😆
Great video content as usual, nice to see different manufacturer being review 👍
There's some pretty cool stuff out there that doesn't ever get tested, it's fun to find it all 😉
Greetings from Buenos Aires. I have RIFLE Premium Series Flathead in .177 (4.5) both LIGHT (7.41gr) and HEAVY (8.18gr) variant. Two words: Excellent quality ...!
Hi mate 😀 welcome!
In the last 6 months or so, I've become a big fan of the Rifle brand pellets.
I'm going to be trying out the thunder .177 at the real long ranges (for sub12) as soon as the weather gets a bit nicer 😉
@@tillysgunstocks Hi. Good idea. Would suggest RIFLE Slugs in 4.5. By the way, nice pistol. Which one is it ...?
The pistol is a pp55 from precihole in India. It's early days with it so far but I'm really enjoying it. It seems pretty accurate (not when I'm holding it) 😆😆
I'll give the slugs a try in the future for sure😉
Heyup chap, great informative content buddy, becoming very interesting these Brazilian pellets, cheers, Jon 👍Hawkes eye TV 👍😁
Morning Jon. Yep they're pretty decent the Brazilian stuff. The budget ranges are proper budget but the mid and premium ranges are Def worth a look at 😉
Great video and those pellets are going to be very popular, interesting how you shoot your rifles right handed and your pistol left handed, nice skill to have 👍
Hi mate, I'm pretty much fully ambidextrous as it goes..I just can't support a rifle with my right arm as the leading hand anymore. Could shoot bench left handed pretty well. I need a pair of pistols now🤠
Yeah the mid to top end Brazilian pellets are Def worth checking out. Decent build quality and sensible prices 😉
Awesome 👍🏻
Cheers mate 😉
Hallo TG. These would certainly be worth a look. I use the Excites a lot and never been able to get them to cycle though any of my magazines with any great consistency, some even refuse to load completely without forcing them. Good luck with the pistol shooting. 👍👍
I've got another batch of the 4.50 head size to try when I get a chance. They are super slick for wadcutters. I'd bet I could fine tune the xti to run them lovely 🤔
Don’t use excites then sureley😂
I've recently tested 124 different brands and weights of pellets on one of my rifles, shooting .22 calibre 5x shot groups at 25 yards. My best group so far is 6mm edge to edge which would be 0.5mm centre to centre. My worst grouping pellets was around 200mm about 8 inches. My third best ranking pellets so far are with repetitive consistent tight groups are some of the cheapest pellets on the market, Bisley WASP cost around £4.99 for a tin of 250. They have quite a sturdy skirt on them which is thicker than many pellets, so are less likely to become disfigured. After further testes they may even achieve 1st best pellets, as the top 4 to 5 pellets are a close contest. I've recently ordered a variety of the brand RIFLE pellets which I have yet to test so will see how they go. I did test the RIFLE DOME 18.36 grain though they only ranked 48th out of 124.
Hi TG, Maybe do some of this "All Over Again", but using, only, the Single Shot Tray. Magazines can be "Iffy" and a lot of them, Have, or develop "Cycling Issues" with use, or can be there even from New !! (and some are better than others) Also, takes another thing - "Out of the Equation".
Brasil é numero um.
I do love a cheeky Brazilian 😉😉
Pistol stance ... close your eyes get comfy and raise your pistol, now open your eyes ... adjust your feet etc until you line up 👌
Sounds easy on paper eh🤣 not in my hands it's not...
Worth trying as many flat head pellets as you can find through the Precihole. I had a Pardini SSP wich was very pellet picky, and only liked 7grain RWS R10 Match in 4.50 head size.
Absolutely mate, in time I'll collect a bunch together for proper testing. Right now the Econs are doing the business whilst I'm still very much learning all about it. I need to make a few more grip tweeks and work on my stance..a lot 😆
If you want cheaper, then try RWS Geco (7grain - 4.50 head size). Around £6 / 500 from Pellpax.
LOVELY. how do fid the juggling RUclips with work life etc. Do you feel pressured to make videos? I love it at the same time find the pressure sometimes its like work. Lovely test. One day I'll be as thorough as you ;-)
It's not easy juggling work, life and filming.
My work is chaotic at the best of times and most the filming is done when I'm supposed to be relaxing 🫣 most the indoor range footage is done after 8pm which is hard going at times after a day on the tools.. no easy answers really other than I simply couldn't afford to spend the time filming if my business couldn't support it😬
Great idea with checking the pellets, maybe if you hold the magnifying glass just right, you’ll finally see where your shots are actually going😂
Great content as usual 👍 but can you tell me where you are buying your econ 2s from my local shop are selling them for £5.99 a tin 😢😢. R Mc
Jsr mate, they're usually under 4 quid a tin 😉
Didn't realise you could get a pellet head size gauge, where did you purchase that?
They were on eBay a while ago mate😉
@@tillysgunstocks Thanks. Have done a google search and they're not cheep mind, they're twice the price I was expecting.
Thanks for the video how do i find those pellets in a 10.34 g from Brazil
I don't think they do a proper heavy .177 in the wadcutter type mate. Not that I've seen in the UK anyway 🤔
For Pistol..Get yourself a scope on a stand ..Instead of R Hand in pocket of your top, put your thumb into your R trouser pocket . Gives you more stability . Finally upgrade you pistol and get or make a proper grip !! Set the trigger at 500 gms and you are all set !!
Cheers mate, made a mental note of that 😉
From experience if a having been doing air pistol for many years , all match pistols will put pellet on pellet at 10 meters ! If not you reject the pistol ! It is worth the money to get a Steyr or Morini or even a pardini . You can go for electric triggers but never found that essential .
Dont move your feet when loading, grip only with your second and third finger, rest your thumb lightly on the grip don’t grip with your thumb and concentrate ONLY on the front sight. I know most of this stuff is basic and different for everyone but it’s a good starter.
Them ain’t buzzards they be red kites.
RWS Hobby .177 weigh them and dump the 10% stupid heavy and 10% stupid light, 10-20/25m tack sharp depending on gun.
JSB Diabolo Target standard (sport) or splash out a couple of quid more for the graded ones, 10-30+m. Chatting with a guy on the local range, he was chucking them out of his AGT Uragan 2 at 35m and punching a 5p hole. I let him use my JTS Airacuda Max (£500) he ordered one there and then on his phone. I used his Uragan 2 and will give up eating for 6 months to save up for an Uragan 3. Oooooooooooo Uragan, I might sell a kidney.......
That attention spa.... "That dog has a puffy tail... here puff... here puff...
Mate I'm terrible 😆 that's one of the reasons I stopped competing in hft. My attention span seems to get worse as I've got older 🫣
Get ye a spotting scope!
Or a scope-cam casting to a tablet or phone.
Having to rebuild your pistol stance all the time isn't helping.
I could cast the GoPro footage toy old phone as it live streams it... That's a great idea 😉
