After watching this video I wonder why we still use the muzungus remnants. After all the things these muzungus did against our grandfathers and ancestors we still follow their tradition?🤔 Their army occupies our land in Nanyuki? We are still part if the commonwealth? Sometimes I wonder, are we really free? Or can this muzungu colonise us at his whim? Their army is already here. It is also unbelievable that, that army has been there since independence. Does Kenya have the same privillage in Britain?🤔🤔. I don't think so. Plus all the wealth they looted from Africa. We need to apply for a visa from Nairobi to visit Britain but they get visa on arrival here, I think we are still their colony. They dictate terms to us. The really sad part is no one in Kenya sees this or raises any question.
@@kiruakip6380 Yes, it is way passed time we should have done something about this. Also those ugly expensive wigs they wear. Do the lawyers and judges even know why the muzungu wear them?😂😂😂😂😂It is not a symbol of truth or justice. These muzungus used to shave their heads to avoid lice and all the other insects on their heads. So they wore wigs to cover their bald heads.😂😂😂😂And we are following that.😂😂😂😂😂
I agree with you....I just remembered how African presidents were humiliated during Queen Elizabeth burial.....USA managed to kill Gadaffi...One of the legends who would free All African contries including us,Kenya from modern British colony and their control towards how we should learn our country
I once watched a documentary about the White House in the U.S & it was so detailed. I wish you dug deeper & touched on it's design from inside, the President's residential wing, it's key security features, acres occupied... but all in all, Good job our Kenyan Historian Enock. Nice piece
Sir Herbert Baker is the man behind State House! Very good documentary 👍 indeed! In the US the public is allowed to take photos of the White House and to view it from some meters away unlike here!
Wish there was a virtual tour of interior Statehouse just like the USA Whitehouse has. Though the Whitehouse has restrictions on virtually touring the upper floors
Great piece. Probably it would be nice if we knew more about the rooms? What’s the State Dining room? President’s office? More context would be welcome
Great work but Jomo kenyatta did not move into state house on 12th December 1963 , remember he was prime minister and the colonial governor was still resident there. Jomo moved into state house on 12th Dec 1964 when the governor General left and kenya became a Republic
Moi didn't live there. Moi loved the Kabarnet gardens Ngong road. Kibaki loved his' Muthaiga home also.. uhuru lived acrossed their home near statehouse.... So its Ruto who is the first to live there permanently
A very shallow documentary.we needed you to show us our president's office his resident while still maintaining security protocol.visit a doc on white house which is even a museum and pple visit.
Dear Brothers and sisters Kannia: I would like to inform you about a worng decision your humble president William Ruto want to take to come in our belove county, The HAITI, in which we are trying to free our homeland....I write you about this memo to stop all police force from your homeland not to come in Haiti, we hope it will be shame for our brothers against Haiti for tht write people...
This is a great documentary. Great work Enoch, Kenya is proud of you.
Im a Ghanaian but am obsessed with Kenya and I hope to travel there someday 🖤

Bumped into the Kenyan Historian today at the Kenyatta University BSCC and commended him on the good job he's doing.

@Osengo Highlights ⚽ Unfortunately 🤔🤔🤔🤔 . I could write in Kiswahili or my mother tongue but not everyone will understand what I am saying.
At the end of the documentary, the story of Moi. Moi resided in kabarnet gardens in kibra. Always saw him Going to statehouse every morning

Hey, bro. Access ndio hakuna for now. One day, it will happen ndugu.
Access to these places are made unnecessarily difficult. In the US, as long as you get clearance, you are good to go!
Kenya is different. Too many restrictions.
@@georgek685 yeah, school kids go on field trips into the white house every week
In Africa such details are classified.
incredible documentary, showcasing our Nation's pride, keep cracking the hard nut Kenyan Historian, you deserve a commendation.

President kibaki was the first leader to SLEEP at the house on the hill....Pre Moi leaved at his Kabarnet Gardens in kibra
The late Daniel arap.Moi never slept at statehouse. He maintained Kabaranet Gardens home which was intially official residence of the then DP
Beautiful it captured my eyes I couldn't escape to watch it. I love my mother Land, my country Kenya. Thank you that was my comment 🙏🏿

Very good showcase of statehouse, nice video.
some great piece, though I waited to see some inside tour, if that's permitted. Good work sir Enock.

Moi never slept at state house, he always went to to his house at Kabarnet gardens regardless of what time he got done at state house.
So did kenyatta as well... he never slept at statehouse
@@worriestrouble838 right, Kibaki was the first president to sleep at state house.
funny jomo never slept there as well citing that the place was haunted

And its high time we build our own statehouse designed by our own architecture.
And of course excessive amounts of money will be used,if it ain't broke, don't fix it....
Great work but I was hoping to see how the inside looks.
I love history
I love your content
As Kenyans we value our culture
Uganda state house is number one beautiful ❤❤
