- Abandoned Burger King - Greentree, PA. In this video we take a look at yet another closed BK location owned by Tom's King which is a franchisee of the company. In 2022 they filed for bankruptcy closing over 90 BK locations in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and elsewhere.

Thanks for posting this. Why have most of the Burger Kings and Pizza Huts been removed from Pittsburgh and surrounding areas? It's like TFI Friday's. Here one day and POOF, gone the next. These were places that were heavily visited, too. I don't understand what happened.

It's been forever since I've been to that area and didn't even realize that location had closed. I ate at that location when it was open, and the last I heard of that location was when someone walked into the store to place an order and nobody was inside working cuz the manager or shift leader had to leave for an emergency, and sent the team home, and forgot to lock the door. What amazes me they do not have the Brentwood location listed on there, even though Brentwood is still open which I frequent due to disliking the BK on E. Carson Street. But anyways, thanks for another awesome video.

They just closed one of ours here in Loveland Ohio that was recently remolded. Sad to see! Truthfully I prefer Burger King over McDonald's and never ate at McDonald's growing up though we hade one of each within half a mile from each other. Started going after my son was born in 2000 for the Hot Wheels toys and never stopped apparently. I am a Whopper and original chicken sandwich fan!!

My childhood bk was one of those 70s? Bk with the wood interior and seats and a full party room with a indoor playplace.
Then it got renovated to a blueroof bk, turned the party room to a "wifi" lounge with 2 computers kept the play area but made it outdoor
Then got renovated agian to the cookie cutter shoebox design with double drive thru, removed the lounge and made it into a outdoor seating area, removed the playplace.
One day they had a ceiling panel out and you can see the "70s era" wood joist still there.
The Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe has a really good breakfast! Don’t know if they still serve it, as I haven’t been to one in quite a while.

Yeah I have about 4 more Burger King's to do up here in Illinois. And it's the same franchise as that one. They closed about seven of these in Illinois. I've done a ton of Burger King's as well on my channel. A lot of them I just stumble upon in my outings. I may end up making a separate playlist just for Burger Kings. Good video

The one in Carpentersville on Randall Road is closed. I don't know when they closed it, but I'm guessing it was about 1-2 years ago. It's about 10-12 minutes away from where I live.

Well here's a recommendation for you while you could always go to one of the other Burger King locations and ask them about the signs maybe they could give someone to put you in contact with

speaking of gas prices here in washington state its all over the board anywhere from around 3 and change to almost 5 bucks on regular and diesel is over 5 bucks almost 6. even though we have a refinery here gas prices arent to great.
I'd say I'd take Burger King over Mc Donald's, because Burger King has the onion rings and is also more aggressive about offering "2 for $$" deals and regularly sends out coupons, neither of which Mc Donald's does very often.
Everybody always raves about Mc Donald's french fries, but its the same fries since I was 4 years old. At this point I can honestly say that if I never eat another order of regular plain-old french fries again before I leave this earth, well, I've eaten more than my fill.
I went to this location twice while it was open. I should have learned my lesson after the first time. They were absolutely horrible.

@@retroryan838 I think about 4 or 5 years. You can get better food at other places. However, Burger King to people is just decent. In my opinion, I’d say it’s good because you can get decent food for a good price.

you should film a video of the abandoned Sears in Mentor Ohio at Great lakes mall. the Sears closed in september of 2017 stills sits abandoned and hasnt been used ever since
You should try and find an abandoned radio station that is still in good shape and still have old equipment
A lot of these places are closing up due to the lack of help. After covid jany restsurants could not get help Heck the 5 yr old wendys up the street from me has had its dinning room closed for quite awhile now, and olny the drive through is open, and its super slow. Took me almost a half hour to get my food. I see them closing up if they dont hire some help to move things alonng. Problem is fast food places just are not paying people enough to work there.
i own a rental property by there, that BK was built around 2017, before that is was an italian deli that closed around 2015 - 16ish, i prefer taco bell down the street, so i never ate there. Sad that is closed after 4 -5 yrs.

So this place just reopened under new ownership and decided to give it another shot today hoping itd be better I sat in front of two other cars for about 10 maybe 15 minutes then when i got to the window sat another 10 mins while watching 3 employees chat and dance.... and they looked at me like im asshole..i kinda feel bad not saying thanks when they did give me the food but whatever managment bk employs they need to do something different it just felt insane that it took that long to get the food while 3 employees just chatted and danced
When you film these, get me a shot of the electric meter i seen part of it in the back as you were there. If you find about the signs you want. Ask if they are tearing doen tbe building if they do, you would like to have the electric meter to give to a friend that collects them. I have many electtic meters that i have gotten from abandoned burger kings. I think i have like 6 or so.

I just found out that Viva Las Tacos in Oakland corner of S. Bouquet & Forbes by a co worker that they closed but Capriotti's sub sandwich is open wonder why they closed. Don't know if I told you that B K on Smithfield & 7th is also close.

We went to that BK once and they said they didn't have any meat. Another time the Whopper was made wrong. Another time I didn't get multiple items through the drive through. It was a bad one. That location ruined the Burger King name. I love Burger King. Shame.

There was a burger King in Morgantown pa they closed about 5 or 6 years ago they were closed for about a year then they opened under new ownership as burger King again then about a month ago they went out of business again
Should have checked the door to git one them bk round logos I'd call them up say hay what you guys goin do wit them there logo's I'd take one..you have to call bk manigement they will tell you how to git ahold of the maniger at that one I called them before to ask about some booths in there I wanted for a kitchen nook..but try that I have the main number I'll have to find it I'll give it to you here it's not listed no where I knew someone at a bk gave it to me so...

How did Burger King file for bankruptcy?
Burger King didn't file for Bankruptcy. TOMS King Holdings, one the largest franchisees of Burger King restaurants, filed for Bankruptcy in January 2023. They owned and operated 90 BK locations in Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Virginia and had to close some of them, including this one in Greentree, Pennsylvania.
